I've had a great response to my beard from women. They love it, I think I've cost myself a chance at some women though who seem to dislike beards.

Mo, ima guess that, from my experience, 80-90% of women prefer the "stubble" look, over the mess we been growin on our faces lately.

In my experience... stubble/shadow > baby face > beard in regards to women.

Chicks may like the baby face when theyre young, but as you get older things change.
I have this theory about maternal instincts as women age, the need to have the family protected, and the correlation between a beard, testosterone, manliness and the female's primal attraction to it.

That's the same thing I think. I've had a few women who were putty in my hands after they touched my beard at full strength. I need a woman like that in my life.

My wife looks at me in disgust when I'm sitting there combing it.
She's not a fan. At. All.
She doesn't even like the trimmed up look that much. But after 10 years of marriage, she's gotten used to it.
She only likes the goatee.
My mom loves it. Reminds her of the hippie beard my pops had in the 70's.
Even i'm starting to get disgusted by this thing....
but I'm a trooper. I will persevere.
January 1st, you can bet you ##@ I'm trimming this mug down though...

I was at the supermarket once and had an older white man(60/70) come up to me and say "i really like your beard, do u dye it" Is like u said mostly other males stay checking it out instead of females..sometimes is rather uncomfortable cuz some dudes break neck and make it obvious.

damn i want an almost full beard so damn bad. This is so hard to explain for some reason, i cannot grow hair in my cheek areas on both sides. a small area, but it makes a huge difference. I wish that @$%+ would catch up, !$*$!!!!! Can grow above and below, but not in the middle. Mad irritating. Been working with the 1/2 inch beard for like 5 years.
