old people shouldn't be allowed to drive...young people get the flak for being in accidents driving wrecklessly and stuff, but old people are worse. they drive too damn slow, and have zero awareness on the roads.

HBD btw

i probably blew it out of proportion by saying he was old, but he was probably in his late 30s early 40s.

vietsta, yikes!! I've never been in an accident like that. I hope you aren't at fault for the Integra infront of you. That would suck.

i think if the person you hit agrees with you that the person that rear-ended you cause the mass/domino collision, the person that rear-ended youis responsible for everything.

If hes actually performing, I recommend anyone that can go should go. Saw him in DC about a month ago, dude was great. As for LIV in Miami, thatplace is nuts, had a free bottle of Grey goose just handed to me there while I was at my table.

if you decide to go to tao make sure the male to female ratio is 50:50. i dont thing theyll let you guys in if its justv you and your boys. i could be wrongthough.

Vietsta...I've been in an accident like that about 5 years ago and was the 3rd car out of 4. Not 100% sure, but from what I remember, the person who causedthe accident/chain reaction was the one who was liable and their insurance had to take care of everything. Word of advice, get checked out by a Chiropractoreven if your back/neck feels ok. Don't want any problems creeping up on you later. Plus it puts a little extra $$ in your pocket when you settle fordamages with their insurance
wink.gif

edit: Actually, now that I think about it, each person's insurance takes care of their part in the accident. So since you ended up hitting the car in frontof you, your insurance takes care of their repairs. Everyone's insurance that is involved eventually goes after the insurance of the person at fault behindthe scenes. When you settle for damages, you deal directly with the person-at-fault's insurance

yeah, thanks for the info. my accident seems exactly like yours.
last night my neck felt fine, but today my neck is feeling a little stiff. ill probably go to a chiropractor later.
i just got back from filing a claim report with my insurance company and im about to call the insurance company of the dude that rear ended me.
my only concern as of now is renting a car to go back to school next week. any advice on this?
should i just go ahead and rent a car now or should i wait for the claim adjuster guy to call me and work out the details with him?
any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

I don't think you're wrong.
just get the VIP passes. you'll be in without worrying about the whole d to p ratio.

Do you know if your policy covers rentals in case of accidents? I would call your insurance to find out. If they do cover, more than likely they will cover theper-day fee for the cheapest rental. Just be careful that the rental place doesn't put you in a car that costs more per-day than what your insurance willcover. If they have to put you in one that cost more, make sure they rent it to you for the price your insurance will cover.

Enterprise tried to hustle me once when I was in that situation. They gave me whatever they had at their lot because they didn't have any economy pricedrental that would be covered by my insurance. I told them they should cover the difference because it isn't my fault they didn't have any rentals. Theysaid cool, but when I returned it, I come to find out they were going to try and charge me $500+ for the difference. Talked to the manager and got everythingstraightened out
Nellie Reaches Out to Randolph's Parents
OAKLAND -- As last season wore on, Warriors coach Don Nelson and rookieforward Anthony Randolph finally began to find some common ground andmove past the acrimony and tension that had marked November and December.

Randolph thought he should be playing more, and Nelson thought Randolph should be working harder. Things reached a low point in December when Nelson declaredhe was putting Randolph "on ice" until Randolph began to show a glimmer of a work ethic. Randolph's response, in essence, was to say that he"was going to continue to work hard."

Things eventually thawed between the two, and Randolph would make some nice strides in the final months of the season. And from the looks of it, both men wantto pick up where they left off - not go back to Square 1. Maybe that's why Nelson is getting mom and dad involved.http://

Nelson reached out to Randolph's parents, Anthony Sr. and Crystal, in early July to try to gain some more insight into their son, the one that Nelsoncouldn't seem to get through to early in the season. The three of them spent an evening together, having dinner, talking about Randolph and getting to knowone another.

"I've always been ready to play for Nellie," Randolph said on Thursday, after taking part in an NBA program to deliver computers to schools. "He came out to Dallas, met my parents and stuff like that. Me and Nellie have a greatrelationship right now.

"I wasn't there, but my mom and dad said they had a good time. I wish I would have been there. We talked after the season and (Nelson) just expressedto me he wanted to meet my family. I thought it was a good thing."

It's also a good thing for the Warriors that Randolph said he has "pretty much been in the weight room every day." When the principal of UrbanPromise Academy middle school introduced Randolph to students, he described him as a "6-foot-10, 210-pound forward."

Off to the side, Randolph quietly said to an observer: "Actually, 7-foot, 222 pounds."

Whatever the dimensions, Randolph seems to represent one of the few areas of promise for the Warriors, who have missed the playoffs two consecutive years.Further, they haven't tinkered very much with last year's 29-win team.

"We had a lot of injuries and things," Randolph said. "I believe a lotof the guys, the younger guys on our team, got experience due to those injuries. With that experience and with getting everybody healthy, we're going tomake the playoffs."

But that can't happen unless Randolph is a big part of it. And Randolph can't be a big part of it unless he and Nelson, and, yes, maybe even mom anddad, get on the same page.

"My parents told me they talked about me for the first two hours that night," Randolph said. "Then after that, they let up on me. It wasn'tall bad. Hey, Nellie is welcome in Dallas with me and my family anytime he wants. We'll barbeque, we'll do whatever. Doesn't matter."
