Hey Paul, congratulations on the internship. From the stories you post about your past experiences, it's nice to hear that your hard work is finally payingoff. I just hope I can figure out what I'm going to do after graduating. I envy people like you that have a good control of their future. At least I founda internship at the Sacramento branch of Calpers' asset allocation division. Hopefully I'll have enough time to prepare for the September LSATs, and mygrades stay up so I can apply to a top 15 law school. So much pressure...

right now i just want to pick a graduate school that fits my personality and law seems like a good start because i love helping people. i have noidea what law i'd look into.

^UCI is opening a law school. though they've already selected the first class (free tuition the whole way through + guaranteed job), i think they secondclass might be seeing something very similar to it. you should def look into it as it's already being considered one of the better schools (thoughit's yet to be opened...i don't quite get it either).

ZOT ALERT! When I feel like making fun of my girlfriend (she goes to Irvine, and yes I go to Davis) a conversation filled with ZOT ZOT ZOTs arekey.

I heard about the UCI law school and free admission, but I only thought it was for the 1st year admissions. I read all about it in the Davis papers, but Iguess I'll look more into it for second year admissions. The law faculty was said to be top 10 in the nation.

I think the Warriors surpassed the Clippers already. They actually have a nice young core. Not saying the Warriors don't, but who knows ifthey will be here, since the guy running things doesn't even like them.

Business philosophy: First of all, you have to know where you're going.

How do you stay motivated: Exercise.

Guiding principle: Commitment to the job.

Definition of success: If you can look in the mirror at the end of the day and realize that you gave everything you could give that day.

Goal yet to be achieved: I want the Warriors to win an NBA championship.

Best decision: Coming to the Warriors.

Mentor: My dad. He worked long hours every day, did his best and led by example. As a young person I looked at that and that was something I respected and admired.

Word that best describes you: Committed.

Like best about job: The people I work with.

Like least about job: Personnel decisions.

Interests: Sports, exercise, golfing, wine.

Pet peeve: Excuses and people who are stuck in the way things used to be done.

Most important lesson learned: Sometimes you need to keep things to yourself. I've gotten a lot better at that.

Person most interested in meeting: My grandfather. He died when I was young and I never really got to know him.

Favorite basketball player: Magic Johnson. His on-court leadership was unbelievable, and his ability to perform when he needed to was even more amazing. He made his teammates do things they didn't think they could do.

Most respected competitor: The Phoenix Suns. I have a deep respect for their senior leadership, and how they go about executing their business plan.

Greatest fear: Not having fear. One of the motivating factors of success is being a little scared once in a while.

Idea of perfect happiness: I have no idea.
