Hate to be "that guy" but I called blazers on pg2, and it was updated on pg. 3 with the result. If i cant get em it's whatever. If I can,i'll take the picks from the dude who was trying to give away picks 26 and 56 to move up. I'll give you mine for that.

^ Yeah you did call them I see that on Page 2 now. You can have the spot...my mistake.

With the 17th pick, the Philadelphia 76ers select

Eric Maynor, PG, VCU

Sorry, you're not getting #3

I knew you bastards were gonna start snatching PGs...

Atlanta takes Jeff Teague, PG, Wake Forest.

I was going to say the same about the T'Wolves. Harden, Flynn, Foye, Jefferson, Love would be good money to start.

PG- Flynn
SG- Foye
SF- Harden
PF- Love
C- Jefferson

Telfair, Corey Brewer, Carney, Gomes coming off the bench.

By the way...look for the T'Wolves to add a decently big FA this off-season...we have A LOT of cap room/flexibility.

No way James is playing SF in the NBA.

Flynn, Harden, Miller (if he isn't traded), Love and Jefferson is the way to go.

Only if they're trying to be the smallest team in theleague... That lineup would get ABUSED by anybody with size...

Yeah...SF is probably a stretch but I was just trying to fit Flynn, Foye and Harden all into the same lineup.

And I have a feeling Miller will be traded this summer

...which is why I didn'tinclude him

Agreed.

Foye is the odd man out, Miller is good enough to handle the ball, and if you draft Flynn you're kind of giving up on Foye IMO. I really can't see aback-court of Flynn+Harden and anyone else other than Miller or Brewer if he has a really good off-season.

Foye could be used as a spark off the bench ala Jason Terry or J.R. Smith.

I've read reports about the T'Wolves trying to sign Marvin Williams. Not sure about that move since I'm not a believer in him, but just throwing itout there.

If it's a S+T for Mike Miller, I think that'd be a decent move. It kind of gives up on Corey Brewer, but he hasn't shown much since hecame in the L to begin with.

I think Marvin has done well when asked to, like when Josh Smith was out with injuries. The best fit for him isn't in the situation he's in where hehas to play third fiddle on the offensive end of the frontcourt. In Minny, he'd be the second option from their front-court, and he'd be given moreroom to operate since Jefferson and Love are primarily low-post players, while morons like Josh Smith like to sit on the wing and shoot jumpers if thereisn't an open lane to the basket. In return Mike Miller is a good passer, good shooter, and decent rebounder.

Where'd you see that Marvin Williams rumor?

Brewer was playing semi-decent until he tore his ACL...he'll be a quality contributor for us next season if he's fully healthy.

What's the general consensus on Corey in Minny? It seems like he'd be the kind of player no one would notice other than the dudes thatfollow the team, intangibles kind of guy. Seems like a good defender, just not too polished on the offensive end. What do you think of the kid? Did he everhave any injury issues prior to tearing his ACL?

He didn't have any notable injury issues during his rookie season (played 79 games) and I can't recall any injuries at Florida. Basically,I don't see him as an injury-prone type of player in the future...hopefully that proves true.

I think his offense will get somewhat better (it really couldn't get any worse), but I think his niche in the league will be a Bruce Bowen, TrentonHassell, Raja Bell type player. Basically a defensive stopper who can guard the 1, 2 or 3 and maybe hit an open jumper just enough to keep his defender honest. Also his hustle on both ends will be valuable, but I don't think he is starter material and might serve more value on an already-established team where hecan have a smaller, more defined role then being a rebuilding team where more will be asked from him.

I hope he can make significant strides during the 09-10 season though...I think all teams need a defensive stopper to take that big step. Hopefully he can getbetter on the offensive end because he could be a key player for us in the future if he develops into an all-around player.

Well actually it wasn't a report, but more like a suggestion by the Minnesota fans on RealGM lol.

But it does make some sense for Minnesota.
