one of my students did have the time to complete an assignment, and I had already made an announcement that those that didn't finish could go outside whilewe were grading, then come back in. So, after about 10 mins of grading, I noticed that he was grading his paper and it was full of red. I was like "Whatare you doing? I said you can go outside" He was like "No, that's ok--I'll just take the fail" I don't know, but that got me---Iswear I started tearing up on the spot. So admirable....

Kids telling me they learned stuff this year, as opposed to their last teacher is also an amazing feeling.
When my nephew hugs me and says "I lah lu"

And yes, busting a nut is quite the feeling as well.
