Zorn should just return to Seattle as a QB coach.

so who was the token black guy the deadskins gave a interview to to get pass the rules?

^^ Jerry Gray who was already on staff, and had no chance in hell of becoming coach. I like the RR, but the NFL needs to amend it and require organizationsinterview at least one candidate outside of the organization.

Hey I like this idea to get both of the 49ers 1st rounders for the 4th pick...We'll see what happens no...

Its about time

I'd actually be happy if we hire Shanahan.

I truly hope that Snyder actually lets Bruce Allen make the major decisions.

So word is that San Fran is willing to trade thier 12th and 17th pick to get either Suh or Berry....I think this would be the best move for us!

This way we could get Spiller at 12th and a OT at 17th and a OG with our 2nd rnd pick

I like the way this sounds! I am willingly to trade down to acquire more pics anyway possible...

we can get a lot of value and need! if we trade down! get a RB and some O-linemen...

- Try to sign a SLB via Free Agency so Orakpo can play DE full time.

It's the big ******** news you've been waiting all day for: the team signed a bunch of guys to futures contracts!

These are players who weren't on the active roster at the end of the season but that the team wants to bring in to camp next year.

  • Anthony Alridge, RB
  • Anthony Armstrong, WR
  • Doug Dutch, CB
  • Antoine Holmes, DT
  • Clint Oldenburg, OL
  • James Robinson, WR
  • J.D. Skolnitsky, DT
  • Lee Vickers, TE
  • Darrel Young, LB

******** Sign Futures Contracts

Will he retain any of the current ******** coaches? I'd be pretty surprised if Shanahan didn't make wholesale changes. We've already heard that his son, Kyle, will be his offensive coordinator and that Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer will take on that same role with the ********. I know Zimmer pretty well and I've been told by people close to him that he's excited about joining Shanahan.

Latest on Shanahan (Before the news of him being HC became official)

His son, Kyle, will serve as offensive coordinator and there's a lot of speculation that Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer will fill the same role for the ********.

Five ThingsShanahan must address

drafting- Bruce Allen (yes Shanahan does have the finale say, but that is what Bruce is there for)

coached mediocre- That tends to be the misconception when a team is rebuilding or trying to rebuild, cant win them all!

All in all he has five years to try and rebuild, our team is in good hands now!

FUNNIEST STAT IS SHANAHANS ONLY WON 1 PLAYOFF GAME SINCE 99.

ONE.

Good to see a Denver fan in here...can you give me some serious analysis though?

Nick Collins needs to be on our team. So does Vincent Jackson.
Wishful thinking but I seriously doubt those teams let go of those guys. A realistic signing to me from the list would be DJ Williams, but whoknows.

Exactly.

Haven't you dudes been rebuilding for the last few years though??

No, Under Gibbs that was not re-building! Zorn he dint really have the players he wanted to fit his scheme (he wasn't given time and was in a no winsituation to begin with)

Also...No we are rebuilinding into a team that Bruce and Shanahan wants it to be! not Vinny or Dans agenda.

I think its a good fit...even though he has won only one game in the past 10 yrs ALL of his offenses flourished and regardless of what people think we stillhave a TOP 10 Defense

Look at ALL the RB's that went over 1,000 yrds...look at what he created right before he got fired with Cutler and Marshall

We probably won't make noise next yr but I wouldn't be surprised if we surpised some folks the following year
