They hounded Dwight yesterday and took him out the game. Give Sacramento credit. We still miss so many open 3. Jamison was non factor again. Can't win with a bench like that.

lol TFMD already making noise

You're not wrong....
There's so many reasons as to why he's a poor FT shooter. Including him being a natural lefty.
Someone has to make him get in the routine he does in practice where he shoots 80%.

Why would being a natural lefty make you a poor ft shooter? Lefties>Righties

I am a natural Leftie but shoot with my right hand and I am a decent FT shooter. Better than 50% at least. I don't think that is a significant factor.

I think he just does not practice as much as he should.

He played basketball as a lefty until 13. That is the problem. That's why his left handed hook is automatic, and his right handed hook is average..Picking up something at 13, especially when you weren't particularly good at it in the first place means it will never fully develop.

And you shooting better than 50% is a lot more different than an NBA player shooting 50%.

And in terms of the Lakers only Duhon, Jamison & Morris have shot more Free Throws than Dwight in practice

Well then who the hell decided that it's better he play as a righty? Would it be devastating if he played as a lefty as NBA guys generally forget the guy they're defending isn't always right handed?

By the way, if Hakeem is teaching everyone how to play in the post, Yao/Sabonis needs to open a big men free throw school.

Dwight is only missing his free throws now and in a couple of games he going to shoot at 80% just to rub it in Shaq face and how him bigs can do it
Why couldn't we just have fired Mike Brown last year, and hired D'Antoni. So we could have kept Ramon as a backup :( *Goes to time machine*
Nah, if you're going back into time, go back to RIGHT before the start of last season. >:

Broke his wrist.. Started playing with his right... People do crazy things..

But then I wouldn't care about trades.. And where's the fun in that if I can't post scenarios :lol

I'm just going to leave this here

Lakers get: Derrick Williams
Bulls get: Steve Blake, Earl Clark
Timberwolves get: Rip Hamilton, Devin Ebanks

Source Hoopsworld
To say Derrick Williams has not lived up to his hype as the second overall pick is something of an understatement, and sources say if he could return a serious veteran player then the Wolves would move him. With so many injuries, it’s unlikely the Wolves try to force something in the next 30 days. But once Kevin Love returns to the lineup, Williams could be the next chip cashed in Minnesota.

Source NY Daily News
It’s really no surprise, but the Bulls are having no luck trying to move Richard Hamilton, whose $5 million in 2012-13 is fully guaranteed.

Source Chicago Tribune
Carlos Boozer and Richard Hamilton don't care about the Bulls' grand plan to make the NBA Finals in 2014-15, because both will be long gone. But they represent solid bridge players intent on proving they're not getting older but better. "You definitely use it as motivation,'' Boozer said of age assumptions. Boozer lost 10 pounds and has looked more active than in past preseasons. Expect Boozer, 31 next month, to treat this as a contract year as threats of the Bulls exercising their amnesty option on him loom. Hamilton, 34, committed the summer to making his body stronger and more flexible. He won't have to deal with the compressed schedule of last season and returns, if healthy, as the Bulls' most viable option to take big shots

Source ESPN
sources with knowledge of their thinking say that the team has made it clear to the rest of the league that Chris Duhon and/or Steve Blake are available via trade to any interested party.

One team needs a backup PG. One team needs a SG. And we need youth and bench players.

Doesn't hurt Chicago financially. Is better financially for Timberwolves (They'll have $6mil more free to a total of $33mil in cap space for 2014). We also need bench players.

I understand he's a tweener forward... But maybe being on a veteran team will do something for him.

Just spit balling

Admittedly I haven't watched any Bulls games, but I think they'll manage to get by with Hinrich and Robinson at point guard until Rose returns.

Based off reading ESPN Chicago's headlines for the Bulls over the past few weeks.. They're in full panic without Rose.

Can they manage? Yes.

But would it be much more intelligent to load up on the position your star player who had a serious injury ? Yes.

Henrich plays well at both the 1 & 2. At this juncture he's a better 2 (At least he was last year by a wide margin, this year is still young). Nate is a combo guard as well. They still have Bellinelli

Gives them more options. And much better chance at winning once Rose comes back.

Edit: I keep making the mistake of going into Bleacher Report for whatever reason. Some dumbass talked about trades that would thrive under D'Antoni. This guy put trade Pau + filler for Hedo, JJ Redick & Jameer Nelson :x Damn bleacher report always knows how to type things that are the absolute worse then take it a step further. (Redick is fine. It's just the suggestion of Hedo & Jameer making us the Orlando Magic West).. I need to block Bleacher Report like a school blocks every site known to man.

Lakers show interest in Raja Bell

With the hiring of Mike D'Antoni as coach, the Los Angeles Lakers are showing a renewed interest in acquiring exiled Utah Jazz guard Raja Bell, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Bell, 36, has had strong advocates with general manager Mitch Kupchak and Kobe Bryant since the summer, but D'Antoni's history coaching Bell with the Phoenix Suns has amplified discussion of signing the veteran guard should the Lakers create an opening on their roster.

With a $100 million payroll and $30 million in additional luxury-tax expenditures, the Lakers are unsure about cutting a player, paying his salary and then paying the additional salary ($1.3 million) and tax that it would take to sign Bell.

The Lakers have tried unsuccessfully for several weeks to trade bench players to create roster space.

"The biggest question is the taking on of more money," a league source told Yahoo! Sports.

Bell is still under contract with the Jazz, but the team has allowed him to stay away this season until he finds a suitable offer and the two sides can execute a buyout. Once Bell has secured a contract for the veteran's minimum elsewhere, the Jazz will buy out the difference on the remaining $3.5 million on his 2012-13 contract. Bell wouldn't lose any money between the buyout and joining a new team.

Utah has allowed Bell and his agent, Herb Rudoy, to search out deals elsewhere. The Chicago Bulls have shown some interest in Bell, too, but haven't made any offers, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

When his minutes and role diminished a year ago, Bell began to clash with Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin. Bell started 30 games for the Jazz a year ago, but his minutes steadily decreased over the season. Bell had long been considered a quality perimeter defender and a credible 3-pointer shooter, but several league executives, scouts and coaches wonder how much of that proficiency is still left in his game.

Bryant has been a proponent of acquiring Bell once he's a free agent – and has communicated that to Bell, sources said – but Los Angeles signed shooting guard Jodie Meeks and absorbed several contracts in its trade for Dwight Howard.

Bell has been working out in his hometown of Miami, preparing for his chance to return to the league.

Oh.

How about trading Gary Vitti for one of the lower tiered members of the suns medical staff? He has to be the most overrated and inept trainer in the league.
