Crucible TTK being reduced with Forsaken
Honestly idk why they went away from it. The whole team shooting meta is ******** and hopefully the reduced ttk makes players move away from it. I just don’t know if it’s too late.

So if I’m playing on ps4 what’s the best way for me to get all the dlcs? I just bought the main disc with no add ons.

Btw, I jumped on today for the first time in months and it made me realize again why I stopped playing. :lol I just hope

You got two choices...........

Pay $20 for the Expansion Pass on the PSN Store right now (it is currently on sale at that price, since the original MSRP for the Expansion Pass was like $30 I believe)

OR

Wait to see if Bungie will release a "all-in-one" collection for Forsaken like they've done in the past for the Taken King Release and Rise of Iron Release, and trade-in your old main disc for the new "all-in-one collection" disc instead (which is not really all-in-one, it is just the main disc that comes with codes to download all the DLCs)

For me, I'm tempted to do the first option after seeing all the new stuff Bungie has been churning out about the upcoming 2.0 update for Forsaken.

At the same time, Bungie has ****** over D2 so bad that I'd rather take the wait-and-see approach for an "All-in-One" collection where you pay full price of a regular game, instead of paying for all the DLCs and the original game separately.

I'm also tempted to make the complete jump to PC as well.......especially after playing some recent "shooter games" on my new gaming PC and experiencing the transition from controller to keyboard & mouse.

Is this game worth it for just the campaign alone? I say this because I don't think I want to spend more money on the expansion.

No, both the old Destiny game and the current Destiny 2 have never been a good enough game for their campaign alone. The selling points for both games have always been PvE and PvP, PvE being you play with "other players" to accomplish a strike/mission/raid.

Even with the improvements of the story over time via the DLCs of each game, Destiny games by themselves have weak stories for the campaign.

So if you're looking Destiny 2 (or Destiny 1) for a single-player experience, walk away now.........b/c it will not give you that experience at all.

That's too bad, I expected better from Bungie. I guess that's not the focal point for this game, thanks for the info.

I thought about it and i didnt want my post earlier and my posts from now on to seem like i was or am bashing D2. Destiny as a whole at that. Its a good to great game. Its just not for me anymore.

The memories from D1 i will never forget. The first time raiding, failing miserable, finally beating it, and the people ive met :hat

D2 had memories for me too but not nearly as many as D1. D2 i played more pvp. My first flawless run, getting my k/d above 1.0 for the first time ever(if you know me this is a accomplishment lol), dominating games, and getting hate mail :hat

I say all that to say im at a time in my life where i cant keep up the grind. Alot changed for me since D1. Got married, had another kid, ect. Plus bungie fell well off a cliff as far as how D2 was launched. Honestly they should of just kept releasing DLC and updating D1 because this whole look we had this in D1 but in D2 we gonna take it out only to sell that same feature later is not cool. Plus a myriad of other issues that have already been discussed at length already.

Honestly I think this is what makes me want to like destiny 2. D1 was so fun because it was all new to me and my group and we were all on every night bull****ting trying to beat the raid, grinding on iron banner just to get to rank 5(back when it was a real struggle), doing nightfalls with whatever was the latest cheese spot :lol , waiting to finally get that gally, putting in work with my hawkmoon back when it had scout rifle range :lol and hoping for that perfect rolled gun(eyasluna). D2 just lost that feeling. :{

The game is highly flawed in its current state. Going back to more D1 like qualities will help improve it.

If there’s one thing that’s hard to give up when dropping this game it’s really just the gun play. The people you start doing NFs and raids with is what keeps us coming back.

I'm definitely feeling this when I've been exploring other "shooter" games these past few months.

Especially the "popular trending" Fortnite, Destiny's gunplay is SEVERAL EONS BETTER than Fortnite's "RNG bloom" shooting..............they have BLOOM on SMGs and ARs, why?! Even in CQC, there is still RNG bullet hits for SMGs and ARs in Fortnite. ******* stupid, even more stupid than the BLOOM on hand cannons in the console version of both Destiny games.

I think D2 is in the best state it's ever been right now and it will only get better with Forsaken

I've been having a great time with EP and helping folks get through The Whisper this weekend

Finally got DFA yesterday as well :hat

Solstice starts next week and adds a ton of new objectives to aim for

I'm in for the long haul

The real announcement I've been waiting for.................."All-In-One" Legendary Collection, and it is $60

There is also a limited edition "Complete Collection" at $100........but who gives a **** about that, Bungie hasn't deserved anyone's additional $30 for that **** AFTER all they put us through since the launch of D2

I'm still holding off.......haven't touched D2 all year. Probably catch it for black friday

I'm sure the Legendary Collection will still be available at that time..........plus the 2.0 Update will be released at the end of August, so that'll give you plenty of time to "experiment" with the new sandbox

All-In-One is $60? The expansion pass was how much, $35? Forsaken on it's own is $40? I'm good on that. Maybe if the expansions were free. The Fall is packed with games. D2 has to compete with Red Dead Redemption II, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Dragon Quest XI, Spider-Man, Forza Horizon 4, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Battlefield V, Hitman 2, and Fallout 76. Plus I heard the D2 expansions were light on the content. A friend told me the Osiris one wasn't even worth $5.

Osiris and Forsaken aren't comparable in size, Forsaken is a more akin to the Taken King.

It might be about that time for me to get back in the game...

So basically you've already deleted Destiny 2 from your PS4's HDD space at this point? LOL

I don't blame you, it just means you're not optimistic of the improvements Bungie is ABOUT TO MAKE to the game.......which is fine.
