Did anyone shrink wrap or Ziplock their shoes?

Sup guys, took a break from shoes in 2012 slowly getting back into them. I noticed that all of my old DS pairs are ungluing and/or yellowing. Just curious, has anyone shrink wrapped or ziplock bagged their shoes at least 5 to 10 years ago for storing? If so, Im curious to know how well it preserved them.

I did put silica packets in some of my shoes, dried the hell out of them. The plastic lace holders on my Mars IV's snapped, same with my XVI shrouds SMH.

You gotta give your shoes air. You basically suffocated your kicks, that's why they're breaking apart and everything.

Wearing your sneakers once or twice helps... makes no sense to have 6 year old ds kicks... that's like 2,000 days of not wearing something you bought to wear...

Just leve em in the box, plastic wrapping them doesn't do anything to "preserve" them
