Planes and airport experience in general sucks a** tbh they need an overhaul and better design and processes

I flew multiple times in September and I’m still not ready to face another “completely full” plane where the second half of the passengers all have to gate check their f***ing carry ons, because it’s $30-$50 to check a damn bag so everyone brings a full backpack and a mini suitcase on board.

Tiny a** space in the seats

Just horrendous and considering how long it’s been the same I’m surprised we haven’t made bigger planes or a better experience overall

On the real tho it’s not me carrying everything that’s the issue.. I often fly with my guitar and when the damn cabin is full there’s no room for it in the overhead and they’ll make me check it.. where they can then throw it and break it

I have taken Spirit twice in my life,

-Once about 10 years ago on a trip to LA (I swore never again)
- Then again (I didn't purchase tix) About 6 months ago on a trip to Boston

During two separate trips 10+ years apart I was sitting in front of a loud kid that proceeded to kick the back of my chair the entire trip. Don't even get me started on the delays.......

I would rather pay the 200% premium to fly in relative peace with some padded seats and complimentary cheezitz

What’s a good domestic airline though?

I’m flying to Vegas on spirit in a few weeks. I just book wtv is cheapest like an hour flight or less it doesn’t really matter. Just put headphones on take a quick nap you’re there.

I don’t get this whole discussion. Like you have no control over who is on your flight or how full it is regardless of what airline it is. With that as the two primary factors i’m not gonna pay 2x as much for a slightly better chair lol

and i always check my bag. if it gets lost it gets lost. who’s traveling with stuff that valuable.

what i hate is when flights get cancelled. that really gets me sitting around at the airport. it’s why even though i get free flights through my buddy who’s a pilot for american airlines i never use that cuz his free thing is like a if there’s space buddy pass. I once had to wait 6 hours coming back from Vegas and spent and overnight in Philly cuz of that. Never again.
