Dope Boy Etiquette

Yeah I don't think there's rules to drug business. That 'code' stuff is for TV.
Good luck looking for moral behavior within an immoral industry. Not very common.
The mafia even prided themselves on not dealing drugs, and not involving families. That all went out the window when they found out the money that was to be had.

Got a call tonight that one of homies from back home got a gun pulled on him over some drug stuff. This post isn't to condone or condemn street life. What threw me off was the fact that he got a gun pulled on him while he was in the car with 3 of his kids (all under the age of 10).

I aint no street dude at all but whatever happened to the rules or etiquette of how you handled business as a dope boy?

I thought you was supposed to leave the kids out of it.

You mean to tell me you couldn't have caught my homeboy slippin any other time when he was without his kids?
Desensitization from entertainment of this century has most of this generation lost imo
There is no code in the streets. The real question is why your boy would allow himself to get pulled up on like that with his children with no consequences?

I had this conversation with my wife months ago. People out here thinking they CJ from San Andreas and Cops out here thinking they somewhere between Training Day and Brooklyn’s Finest. The desensitization is real out here.

you take what comes with that life. nobody put him in that position but him.

son need to fall back and be a family man.

guy out my way recently got himself, his wife, and his oldest kid with her killed over his own mess. left the babies in the crib with the bodies.

folks not playin. ****** hungry out here.

There was never any universal rules / etiquette... this ain’t the mob.

****** out here starving and it’s ****** out here Super up from the PPP fraud. Morals out the window more than ever right now

if you live that life then keep your head on a swivel at all times .

some dudes still respectable and will spare you in front of your kids but that’s not the majority

Really son should have had it out planned by the 2nd kid.

I dont condone. But....

Rules are, theres no rules.

In front kids, at church, or at a funeral.

Dont come back talking about, "I couldn't because this this and that."

Hopefully these thoughts diminish permanently over time.

There’s no rules in that game.

If your boy is about that action though, the dude who pulled the gun on him in front of his kids should know what time it is as well and that there can be potential consequences for that.

But I don’t think your boy is about it though from the initial post.

We talking about codes lmao? Only code is don't **** up the money. Play stupid games, win stupid prices.

#3, 5 and 7
[Verse]
I've been in this game for years, it made me a animal
There's rules to this ****, I wrote me a manual
A step-by-step booklet for you to get
Your game on track, not your wig pushed back

Rule Number Uno: never let no one know
How much dough you hold cause you know
The cheddar breed jealousy 'specially
If that man ****ed up, get yo' *** stuck up

Number 2: never let 'em know your next move
Don't you know Bad Boys move in silence and violence?

Take it from your highness (Uh huh)
I done squeezed mad clips at these cats for they bricks and chips
Number 3: never trust nobody
Your moms'll set that *** up, properly gassed up
Hoodied and masked up, ****, for that fast buck
She be laying in the bushes to light that *** up

Number 4: I know you heard this before
"Never get high on your own supply"

Number 5: never sell no crack where you rest at
I don't care if they want an ounce, tell 'em "bounce!"

Number 6: that goddamn credit? Dead it
You think a crackhead paying you back, **** forget it!

7: this rule is so underrated
Keep your family and business completely separated
Money and blood don't mix like two dicks and no *****
Find yourself in serious ****

Number 8: never keep no weight on you
Them cats that squeeze your guns can hold jums too

Number 9 shoulda been Number 1 to me:
If you ain't gettin' bagged stay the **** from police
If ****** think you snitchin' they ain't tryna listen
They be sittin' in your kitchen, waiting to start hittin'

Number 10: a strong word called "consignment"
Strictly for live men, not for freshmen
If you ain't got the clientele, say "hell no!"
Cause they gon' want they money rain, sleet, hail, snow

Follow these rules you'll have mad bread to break up
If not, 24 years on the wake up
Slug hit your temple, watch your frame shake up
Caretaker did your makeup, when you passed

Your girl ****ed my man Jacob
Heard in three weeks she sniffed a whole half a cake up
Heard she suck a good ****, and can cook a steak up
Gotta go gotta go, more pies to bake up, word up (Uh)

3900stabler 3900stabler , it’s not uncommon. I witnessed a murder 15+ years ago just like that. Dude walked right up, talked a few minutes and homie started his car quickly. The guy standing beside pulled out and shot him 4 times at point blank at which point the driver floored it right into some apartments and died minutes later....his 2 year old girl was in the backseat strapped in her chair :smh: :frown:

All that **** happened about 30 feet from me while I was walking my dog.
