I am all for self defense, but this bothers me a bit. I think that if this is how personal beefs are being settled, without innocent people being harmed, then I understand, as this is how I grew up. But if people are simply using this as a form of entertainment, this is incredibly disturbing.

Yes, I do watch boxing from time to time, and I participate in the training, but not the MMA. As brutal as boxing can be, there is a bit of refinement there. However, I still do not like the fact that there are more minorities beating the heck out of one another, for the entertainment of
the ruling class, so to speak.
Here, you'll see young black men, instead of getting an education and bringing up their communities, beating the hell out of one another, simply for entertainment.
There was something called the Battle Royale back in the late 1800's, early 1900's, where they'd place a bunch of young black kids in a ring blindfolded, one arm tied behind their backs, with one glove on hand. It was done for spectacle, for rich White men who'd bet on the winner. The kids got something like candy, or some %#@$ if they won.
This is what this reminds me of...
