I figured y'all were just being ******** but that video was uncomfortable to watch.

Just be yourself, and know what you're going go talk about. If you mess up, on a piece of clothing just superimpose the correct word/piece for a few seconds.

The best tip would be to stop being so verbose the vids shouldn't be more than 2mins, and control vibrato. The high and low pitch of your voice makes anyone uneasy, talking is like a dance, you need to keep a certain tempo.

Anyways, WJ4 I really liked your fit from Friday. If its possible, can you pm me or post the details of that piece? Mainly just the suit/pants... You're 5,10 right?

Thanks a bunch

Hey bud,

I'll just answer it here in case anyone else is wondering. I'm 5'9'' at 155 - 160 lbs. The suit is a Prince of Wales pattern from Thick as Thieves.

The fabric I have is the first one from the top: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_n-lCcZxYY...AAAfI/ZHxeVWAQbik/s1600-h/Prince-of-Wales.jpg

@wj4 thanks man, do they give off that leathery sheen?
Kinda. It pretty much looks like that in the pic. It definitely looks 'smoother' than regular black denim, for a lack of better word. But it doesn't look like leather pants though. I know what you're talking about..the 'sheen'. I have a black leather jacket for ref.

Recent family dinner outing. My sister and I pictured. Hadnt worn these Baldwin pants in a dress up setting yet so I tried. I thought the outfit came together decently.

i'm 99% positive that jordanscrub took our advice and is posting under a different SN. i won't be the one to blow up his spot though

I was wondering about Jordanscrub too. I wonder what his new handle is.....

Long time lurker, first time poster.

1.) I'm a very skinny guy (6'0, 140 lbs) and I'm wondering if anyone could point me to the right direction to find chinos that fit my body type. Price range under $70. I tried the Dockers Alpha chinos but I didn't like the khaki color.

2.) I want to know what's NT's take on graphic tees? I saw two of them that I liked but every time I read a fashion blog it always says they're a huge NO NO.

check out zara, uniqlo, h&m. or thrift and tailor

what you mean by graphic tees

fit is not THAT bad....but the video was ridiculous and not in a good way

A plus execution, my son needs to learn some casual video editing and slow down. outfit no bad though

+1.

Some suggestions:

1. Be consistent. You first called the patch on the jacket 'pleather' then you switched to 'leather'. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I heard that).
2. If you're going to talk about the brands, know about the brands (referring to the vest).
3. If you want to describe the fabrics, know the fabrics (and not just say that classic vest material).
4. That is not a dress shirt, it is a sports shirt.
5. Matching is highly overrated, coordination is where it's at. You don't need to have every single colors match with your shoes.
6. An outfit video should not be 4+ mins long. I'm sure you can do it in 2 mins or so if you plan it. It appears you winged it since you got lost a lot, which brings me to the next point..
7. Keep vulgarity to the minimum, you will turn off some demographics. I assume your objective is to get the most views possible so yep.

Thanks for participating in the thread :)

reppe:Nth:Nthatatd for the great response, so helpful

Also, remember Aceofjays? I know he was heavy in the OG thread but I can't recall if I've seen him in this one.

Anyone have some links to some good black waxed demin jeans? thanks
I am a big fan of Cult of Individuality denim, so I managed to find a pair on Nordstrom's site.  However, they're sold out.

I managed to find you a pair on sale. I wore them this weekend and got nothing but compliments on them.

They not a big as they look. They're actually slimmer...

Also, if this is too expensive.  Zara is selling them also. In different colors I believe for $49.95

But I found these on Mr. Porter some Balenciaga for $89

suede and nylon does not sound like a great combination on those. i would keep looking. there are probably better options at a similar price point

Strange question but do you guys have any hangers that you swear by or really recommend?

I hate when i put my shirts on hangers that are too small and i get the dreaded "hanger shoulder" popping up in my shirts and sweaters. Bought time i upgrade my current hangers with all the newer shirts i have been buying thanks to this thread....and j crew factory sales
