Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Ehhh, from what I've seen from the 70s at least, there were a lot of misses. Huge lapels and shirt colors, bold patterns and polyester, flared pants.

It's all kind of cyclical and it also depends on the demographics you're looking at within that time period. I'm sure people in the 90s looked at previous decades fashion as ridiculous like we now view some of what was hot in the past.

That's true, but I was referring more to "standard" clothes rather than fashion, if that makes sense. I consider all the stuff you listed to be in the same realm as the rolled up pants/short suit pants, Yeezys, Louboutin spiked shoes, leather jeans, etc. My grandpa was an accountant, and based on his pictures what he wore to work, weddings, and other business/formal events back then could still be worn today

Yeah, I think the trends like you mentioned are forms of fashion (fast fashion) but Style and standard clothes and looks will never be out of place like a tailored suit (def not near GQ tight but slim and well fitted on the shoulders especially) things like that don't change and would look natural and good in the 60s and will in the 2030s probably :lol

Yup. Whereas with my Dad, my mom and I have basically tried banning him from buying his own clothes...he's guaranteed to come back with a chopper suit, short sleeve shirts with sleeves ending at the elbows, and "Dad Levis" if you know what I mean :lol All things that were commonplace in the 80s and 90s when he was in college

getting my Yeezy on with the tied up flannel :lol

on with the casual theme.

Looks pretty bad.. You need a longer shirt in other to make tied flannel around waist blend

I've seen plenty of ill fitting suits, but never in my life have I seen a 4 button suit or a suit with that many pockets. I think all those athletes that dress like that HAVE to get them custom made, cause no respectable brand would make anything like that :lol
