Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Eh I don't like Toms on women or men. Shoes are just ugly to me.
I wouldn't mine a black pair to go with a ninja halloween costume though

The Gap/GQ Best New Designers collaboration will be in stores September 27th,I really need the Todd Snyder jacket....

I can't wait...

I would personally slap my kid so hard if he/she has the nerve to make that kind of comment to anyone. That's just embarrassing and disrespectful.

I don't see what the big deal is. TOMS are easy to slip on, I see them like my Quoddy...for when you want something quick to wear to run errands. And make no mistake, they are using that buy one give one as a big marketing campaign.

Here is a pair of vintage Edward Green shoes I found at a thrift store for $4.95. You'd be surprised what you can find once you discover a good thrift store. These were obviously loved by their first owner as they are showing their share of wear, but I still consider them to be like a work of art.

You can do WAY better than Marshalls or Zara up to $600, unless it's some great find at Marshalls.

I wouldnt buy a suit for a wedding. Unless you have plans for it after the wedding.
Wait, what? What did you suggest he go to Marshalls or Zara for? And, depending upon circumstances, if you're going to a wedding in October, you absolutely should wear a suit. It's something that can be worn more than once, he already stated he has up to $600 to set aside for one.

:eek! That's a serious steal!

Anyone have experience with Mens Warehouse tailoring?

I got my first suit from there back in high school. It isn't very good quality but the tailor at the store was amazing. She left and has her own place somewhere else now and no one knows where.
But to answer your question it def depends on person working your suit.

Outfit looks terrible to me.
TOMS do look girly to me. My damn 10yr old daughter and 6yr old nephew embarrassed the hell out me a while back. They were laughing and giggling and I asked whats funny? Cause I wanted to laugh too. The 6yr old walks over to man wearing TOMS points at them and says "He's wearing girl shoes". Dudes face got red and his wife was like, Yep! I snatch the 6yr old, tell the man, Kids!! His wife snatches the him and mumbles to him "Told you" and I can hear the guy saying "but its for a good cause".
It seems that shoes are for people who want to flaunt they are for a certain cause. This is my opinion.

That look in that pic is sharp! But that's a very Euro look, and I doubt it would be appreciated by many Americans.

Anybody looking for a nice affordable pair of everyday chino/jean type pants should look at these from Target:

I picked up 2 pairs today and they actually fit kind of slim, almost similar to my Levi 521 except more flexible obviously :smokin

Slim, NOT skinny, right¿

:lol yea they're slim definitely not skinny, the thigh area actually has some room (and I have hockey player thighs) but there's a small taper down to the ankle..it's almost perfect imo

Guess you aint got kids. Kids will say what ever is on their minds. In his defense I asked what they were laughing at. He didnt say anything until an adult asked him. It that case you would have to slap the adult.

Dont care but in my eyes Toms looks to be for women and euro look or not dude in that suit is tacky. If hes comfy, thats all that really matters I guess.

Not everything you wear and post in this thread is for everyone.

You may be "doing it" for some but there some that may go "mmmeeeh". As long as its not personal, I would say keep it moving.

WJ4 and Ksteezy has some really nice fit pics but I personally I could not get away with wearing some of it.

Site is legit, I'll likely be purchasing this deal tomorrow

You had those tapered right. If so, how they go it. They go in to the inseam or outside. I have always wondered how its done since the cargo pockets on the outside. Do they take it off and put it back on?

im not really sure of the exact procedure, but i did ask my guy and he told me he goes along the inseam, you wouldn't be able to tell at all though...

wj4. where did you say you get your chinos from again?
I'm starting to lose weight now and the Milanos are beginning to look more like straight cut than slim.
