Go with ToJ Nii. I inquired about making a jacekt very similar to that and they said they can do it and alter it, to some extent, to your liking.
I am sure they can put buttons instead of zippers, you can choose horsehide, soft lamb or another leather in a different color if you want.
You can also change the collar and pockets, even add more if you want. It is measured to your body too.
The great thing is that it will probably be around $600-$700 shipped, depending on which leather you choose.

Those are gems man. You will get some good money for them on eBay if you advertise them right and are patient. If they dont fit you well, and they are not your style, i'll sell them and use the money to buy stuff you really like. Someone will kill for some of those pieces. I think you can get at least a 100 a pop for most of them. Some maybe even more depending on the configuration (side vents, functional buttons, type of material etc).

They do make their bombers in suede as well, it looks sweet as hell.

i think a traditional brown with buttons is what i am looking for. I am in the process of loosing weight so I am going to grab a couple items a size or two down hopefully I stay on track.

1. For jeans, am I better off getting 1 pair of a premium brand like APC, or 2 pair of something like the GAP selvage lines?
2. I have a pair of taupe color DB's, but if I were only to buy 1 pair, what color should I get? Black? Beeswax ? etc?
3. What is a good/solid/versatile jacket for a college student who mainly wears button ups/polos w/dark jeans or chinos?

I recently purchased a TOJ varsity jacket and have another one on the way and I have to say it is the nicest (quality wise) and most versatile article of clothing I own beside my denim. The clothing is a little slim so beware when ordering....I may have to let it go

w/o socks i say tts. w/ socks i say half up. this is based on the boat shoe and the mohawk models. do not by them from jack threads bc they just doubled up the retail and that sale price is actually retail
