That's in Seattle...I remember seeing that on the news...
 
When it is that bad, don't even attempt to go anywhere. Why did the 2nd car try going when it saw the first go down the street like a pinball?

Also, as said before, invest in good winter tires. It's a must for RWD cars and helps any car. Not only do they provide better traction and braking insnow, when temperatures fall below around 40F, all seasons and other tires harden and severely harshen the ride and handling. I read somewhere an all seasontire grip in cold weather (no snow, just cold) is around 15% of what as winter tire can do. It also said the worst winter tire is still better than the bestall season tire in cold and snow.

I recommend the Michelin X-Ice because of it's dry capabilities, good comfort and less noise... but the Bridgestone Blizzak handles a little better insnow but not as good of a riding tire dry. Both are notably better than any all season tire in the snow.
