DS 09 jams question and tips.

for those who have DS space jams 09. would you guys recommend putting it in the ZIPLOC BAG? tips on keeping em from yellowing for awhile? does silica packets help or makes it worst? just tryna gather as much info from you guys. any help for preservation would help. lol


* and no. i will not let em sit forever. just for a good while. gotta 00 jams and 01 breds comming so i might rock em for a couple while before bustin out the 09..

I don't see the point of a ziploc bag and silica packs because I put my Space Jam XI in it's regular box with no added materials and they're still icy as the day they released.

Humidity and temperature will affect your sneakers more than anything.

ive seen pics of people shrink wrapping them....but cmon they are eventually gonna yellow whether they sit or not id say wear em while they are still clear..

Cool, dark place for me. 
I've used silica gel packets for about 10 years now and believe they prolong the icy-ness, so I'm sticking with them.

Honestly guys, I have 22 pairs of Deadstock/Nearly Dead Stock pairs (some only worn once)... After every wear I scrub the bottoms with dishwashing soap and make sure I dry them 100%, then store them back in the box and on the floor in my closet. I also have a thing like "Damp-Rid", it's like a dehumidifier, my closet is always nice and cool and my sneakers r super duper icy. Space Jams are in the box/with paper and they are flawless.

Ha, I do the exact same thing.  Dish wash soap washes off grease and grime you get from the floors.  Works well.

i personaly dont belive in the zip loc bag thing i think if you keep em in a bag for ever eventually there gonna crumble on you

I took a look at my DS 09 jams today and their starting too yellow. So I decided to wear them. Just wear them because they will yellow no matter What you do.
