how do you have one background stretched across both screens?
Mine is just fitting a compressed version of each one

go to control properties > display > select the second monitor > select extend my windows desktop.

i alrealdy have the monitors set up. I just want the desktop picture the stretch across both of the screens.
I'm using Vista here btw

Please believe I didn't want them to switch me from XP to Vista....it's going to be a while before they get Windows 7 out here.
That's what I'm using at home and haven't ran into a problem yet
