I added economics as my second major ( marketing is my first) because i wanted to have something that made me stand out in interviews and i generally am good and like economics. What jobs do you guys have? any tips on how i should approach looking for careers when i am done?

If there's a Federal Reserve Bank district in your area, check their job postings around April. They post a few entry-level research assistant jobs each year for college grads w/ an Economics degree (required) and little to no experience.

Starting at around $45K.

Some schools have Econ courses largely based on theory, others have highly analytical Econ courses. I think the analytical aspect is more marketable

Econ major + minor in Math would be a good look, IMO.

Have you thought about supply chain since you said you wanted to make yourself standout?

I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts from Stony Brook in Economics. Job market is hard at the moment. I started off doing banking though, but its not something I am interested in anymore.
