Lets hope this year delivers the same amount of excitement and suspense as Euro 2008. Turkey's run was something else.

(Sorry I cant find Youtube links for these games anymore but here are links to sites that sadly wont embed correctly for me)

If they don't make it, I'm rooting for Germany to win it all.

Lets go England!

(second pic is to avoid confusion that I'd have Rooney on the back of my shirt
laugh.gif
)

I'd consider this tournament a success if we make it out of the group stages to be honest. The defense is pretty solid but our attack is woeful especially without Rooney. On the bright side at least we qualified this time around
eyes.gif
and this is the last major tournament for many of the underperforming overhyped players who continue to get fielded, so once the focus shifts towards Brazil we'll be forced to try something else and let the talented youngsters take over....again hopefully.

As big of an Arsenal fan that I am, I usually root against England.  I hope Theo and OX play well but those other bums can go to hell.  Anyway, I am excited for the Tournament Group B should be
pimp.gif
but the Euro's are full of quality sides so it should be fun.  I am rocking with the Dutch and hopefully France can come back with a solid run as well.

I just hope OX doesn't let the pressure get to him, didn't have the greatest game today.
I think Theo played well today, for the 20mins he was on the pitch. Hopefully he can keep it up

I made a group on the Fox Soccer website named Niketalk, the password is taptappull

what was said to be the group of death? in hindsight it would be B if Portugal had a straight mind going for them

Group B is the group of death for sure.  2 of the 3 tournament favorites and the team with the best player in the tournament all in the same group.  And of course Nic Bendtner on Denmark will think he is the best player on the field at all times.
roll.gif

Is there anybody not picking Spain, Germany, or Holland to win?

I'd love to see England, France, and Italy sent packing after the groups, just for a laugh.

Yup, it was supposed to be group B.

Whoever rated Portugal as #5 should be banned from watching football. I'm praying Nani comes through in the tournament. And @#$@$@ start Oliveira already!!! 2nd best player in the FIFA U-21 World Cup. He can't be any worse than Postiga and Almeida
laugh.gif

Rooting for the Netherlands and Germany/the young boy Özil.

Hope England bombs out

I don't see a repeat happening for Spain.

I would love to see France win it again but I think they still have a few kinks to work out.

Portugal and Italy haven't been looking well in this friendly games.

England is boring to watch...they are in a transition phase but still...how many games is Rooney out for, 2?

After watching these games, I realized I do want to change my bracket which I made before the friendlies

My National team is Mexico, but I'm still looking forward to the Euro's..

Hard for me to pick a team to cheer for, but i'll go with Portugal even though he have looked terrible recently... Also hoping Fernando Torres has a good showing so hopefully that momentum can carry over into Chelsea's season..

Vamos España
And
Vive Le France

Spain vs Italy (Spain)
Portugal vs Holland (Portugal)
Germany vs Portugal (Germany)
France vs England (France)

Are the best matches in 1st Round. The other are mediocre

I see the Dutch winning the tourney. They have a few kinks defensively but their attacking power is ridiculous.
Huntelaar    Van Persie

     Sniejder  Robben

I can only hope Poland does well but they have sucked in international play for a while now. I dont see them advancing out of their group.

but anyway POLSKA!

So Cahill is out now and Roy is calling up Martin Kelly from Liverpool. England now has 6 players from the mighty Liverpool, more than any other club...you couldnt make this up.

Even tho we always under-achieve and never seem to score goals and win big games, I'll have fun rooting for our national team.
Lets Go PORTUGAL
