Google search the side effects of them. Maybe that will make you think twice about it.

How about you just do more cardio and cut down on the carbs. Its simple do cardio and burn more calories than you take in. That stuff is not regulated you don't know what you’re taking, cheating always has its side effects. Is losing body fat worth having a heart attack or stroke (both highly possible) I think not.

They work. Sure there are possibly adverse effects, especially once you start stacking these with other supps. Be sure to do YOUR OWN research and have a firm grasp of what you are doing...

I hate to play devil's advocate, but when armed with the proper information and knowledge you can really take anything safely with little to worry about as long as you keep yourself honest and have a firm grasp on what it is you are doing.

THIS.  I lost 20 lbs over 3 months by simply doing a biggest loser cardio video 4 days a week along with cutting out all soda and fast food.  That's it.  I'm about 5'8 and went from 180 to 160.  I think the soda was the main thing that was killing me because I never ate fast food that often anyway.  Now thinking about P90X to get a little more toned, but I ain't messing with any of those fat loss pills or any other over the counter crap.  I'm just afraid of the unintended consequences of that stuff.
