Fat Joe Appreciation

Will check it out but the hype is gone. Just hoping Joe lives up to the hype.

money showers get play b, though he should've released it when all da way up was BURNING UP.

did a French move, dropping his album waaaaaay after pop that.

That's what I was posting. I don't get it. Did he think he was gonna get a bigger single? Who in the hell makes these decisions.

Never know if album was done then.

Album sales don't mean much. Especially for Fat Joe and Remy Ma in 2017 I'm guessing.

They were better off caking off all the live shows they could do around "All The Way Up" when it was going strong than take time off the road to finish the album.

Remy said it was done. Joe said it wasn't time. Assuming they were hoping to have bigger singles. Seems like that second single was a dud. I haven't heard the third single yet. I feel like no one is checking for this album.

It's alright. Remy outshined Joe on almost every track. I know it's his job to hype the album up but Joe told me this was like nothing we've heard before

I'm halfway in and it's trash so far. First song had me dumb hype and then it just went to ****.

apparently all da way up was doing so good they just decided to eat them single sales and let da joint pay for itself.

Thought it was solid despite the features, which weren't bad at all.

Remy owned this album :smokin

cooking should've been da last single to release.

"quick" is da last super heat rock, everything else are decent/solid album cuts.

solid project, but my fav fat Joe's album is still me, myself, and I.

A handful of stuff I can rock with on here. The 3 singles, Go Crazy, How Long, Swear To God and How Can I Forget are nice. The only songs I really don't care for are Warning and Heartbreak. This really made me want a Remy album tbh

It's cool. I guess it was what I expected.

Those sure did sound like bars aimed at Nicki on Spaghetti

I wish they had more songs like Swear To God

I have no data for this, but I am strongly of the belief that you're not going to get a ton of album sales off a hot single. People will go for the individual download more often than not.

So that makes sense.

You usually need to have 2-3 hot ones from an album for people to go for it unless you have a highly dedicated fanbase.

Decent project. Should have been a Remy Ma only project.

Tracks I fool with

1. How Can I Forget

2. All The Way Up

3. Go Crazy (Love the Floetry sample on there)

4. Money Showers (love the Ralph Tresvant sample on here)

5. Spaghetti

Does anyone else feel like the prolonged wait for this album took away from its playback value?

Maybe it's just me, but I don't find myself being into it like that. Knowing that this joint was done back in Feb of 2016 and having to wait an entire year to have it drop left a sour taste in my mouth. Back when Joey was on drink champs back in Feb or March last year, they had me hyped as hell for it. Nore was bugging out saying the album was incredible. Then him and Rem did a string of interviews and hyped it up more. Then things fizzled and it dropped a year later. I can't quite articulate why exactly, but that takes away from the appeal of the album. Which sucks because I rock with a few songs on first listen. Just no real urge to replay.

Sort of feel the same way. This should have dropped at the height of All The Way Up. Seems like they went the old school route of dropping a single, letting it build, then dropping the album after the second single (or in this case 3rd). That just doesn't work anymore.
