I want to be a director.  With a little luck I'll be admitted into Berkeley's Film Studies program.

FTL was my first job too and it was cool for the first year but after that it was whatever. The only good thing was the discount and my boss was cool.

My first job was in 05 at a grocery store. Job sucked, but i met a TON of cool people and had that high school paper

Yup, bagger in 04, cashier in 05 then customer service Kiosk in 05/06 at Giant Foods.
Part time during HS. I had all the new Jordans plus extra money for tree.
But the best part was not asking my parents for gas/cloths money etc...
Plus I learned excellent customer service skills.

my 1st job was as a door to door salesman after school when i was like 16 or 17, the hours were fixed, 4-8pm 5 days a week. they gave me gas money (i drove a prius so it was pocket money) and they paid commission+8 an hour. its a bit tough cuz u have to walk a lot, and you encounter a lot of rude people. but it was really chill and u just blaze up on the way to a job site and u work with cool ppl. not to mention i learned how to get anywhere in northern virginia without a gps.
I pitched windows, siding and trim for my 1st D2D job. and my second was as an insurance adjustor, we went to houses affected by hail and told them that their insurance would pay for new siding and that we will replace it all on the insurances dime...... i made good money.

make a nice resume and its okay if you lie on it alittle bit as long as it gets you an interview
well said, you can't afford to be picky.

The staff and my boss were all just super laid back... I think it really has alot to do with WHO you work with. my boss was a huge jokester so it was a great time

Totally didn't think about that.  I'll def look into it.  Do they have an employee discount

?

About 30% off, but it cant be used on newer releases. if you have super cool boss, he might let you hold them in the back for a couple weeks. thats what we did
