I'm not COMPLETELY worried, because will the Spurs shoot like that the rest of the series?

No.

Too late for Roddy...it was over when Carlisle stopped giving him consistent minutes in November. What makes the Spurs so dangerous is that they can kill you with the screen and rolls because Parker and Ginobili can beat you in different ways. If you're late guarding the screen, they'll slash all the way to the rim. If you decide to switch on the screen or go under it, they'll shoot the jumper. Then you have to help out and that's when they draw 2 defenders, leaving an open shooter like Mcdyess or dumping it off to Duncan for the easy layup/dunk. The Mavs don't have a threat like that in their backcourt. Kidd is just a spot-up shooter, Butler and Terry aren't very good at driving to the rim, and Barea is too small to be a good finisher inside consistently. But Roddy, he is the one guard who can do that on the roster. The kid's got a good jump shot, good floater, and has shown to be a pretty good finisher inside with his long arms. He brings that triple threat on those screen and rolls/pops.

Plus on defense, he can guard the PGs that Kidd can no longer guard while Kidd can take the SGs. It just makes too much sense for Dallas but Carlisle never gave him a real chance this year other than to fill in for injuries. If Carlisle gave him 15-20 minutes all season, he'd be a 10-15 ppg player and probably could have been huge for a playoff series, like Gibson for the Cavs in 2007. It's too late for him this year but next year, it's a no brainer. The kid needs to be starting.
