Fit of Cleats?

for cleats, do they fit like regular tennis shoes? i wear a 9.5 in adidas sambas for indoor soccer, but i'm wondering if theres a general rule for fittingcleats in general.

I wear an 11 in shoes that I hoop in, but I wear an 11.5 in Cleats since I wear 2 pair of socks and sometimes I wear my ankle braces....

It kinda depends on the brand...I'm a 10.5 in the shoes I hoop in. I had Nike Air Legend and they were sz 10 but my Adidas Predators and Sambas are a size9.5. I wouldn't buy cleats online...they gotta feel just right imo.
