I havent bought Jordan's in years but I wanted the 11's and the difference between that thread and this thread is night and day in so many ways. This thread is useful, has very relevant information. The price of these are equal to Jordan retros and are by far much better in quality. However, I don't think people want to pay the price for a "trainer/running" shoe. I'll gladly fork over my money for some quality, COMFORTABLE shoes ha.

Very true about supply vs demand. I also think that running shoes arent the "it" thing (demand) right now which helps out a lot. It was funny going to wearing running shoes for a long time back to basketball shoes and thinking "man these are so stiff."

So Feb 16 is the official release date and they do have a padded lining.

Anyone who owns a pair how do they fit compared to flyknit trainers? My trainers fit perfect at a 10.5 but my normal size is an 11. I have a pair of flyknits in an 11 and they are too big....only wear them for casual use can't run in them too much heal slippage

For the FK's It was TTS for me, but on the FK1's I had to .5 a size up. The FK1's runs a bit narrower than the originals.

I wholeheartedly agree! Ever since I started running and educating myself with form and tech, I started to care less and less about basketball shoes. I was a HUGE fan of them before I started to running. I had about 40 Jordans (Retros and OGs), and about 25 Nike Basketball sneakers (Pennies, Kidds, LeBrons, etc.). I practically sold all of them. Sure I like a good looking shoe, and Nike Basketball had A LOT. However, wearing them casually felt like wearing BRICKS, and most weren't comfy. After putting on Nike's latest and greatest tech at the time, Lunartrainer, I felt the difference with weight, of course, but, most importantly, COMFORT, which what I primarily want in the sneakers I wear nowadays. Good aesthetics are also taken into consideration too!

I ordered a size 6 in the black/white trainers (for the gf) and the heel has the extra lining/padding on it like these One+. The laces were also the same as these Flyknit One's...could they be a 2nd production of the shoe? At first I thought they were fakes, but now I'm thinking Nike made subtle changes and are restocking em this way.

P.S. they were ordered from the Finishline affiliate, Run.com.

We only know about half of the 51 total cws, which are all from the first and second waves, so I'm definitely looking forward to what the third and fourth waves look like.

I would love to see. Im curious about the liner aspect. As for the laces, I will most likely put oval laces in the FK1's when I get a pair. I tried it with the FK Trainers, but the laces look to bulky compared to the profile of the shoe. I would say change the laces, but the laces for the Trainers are unique in both diameter and length and specific to the shoe.

I forgot to mention that as well. Making the transition from the stiffness Basketball shoes to the mesh and flexiblity of Running shoes was definitely a good feeling!

Wasn't there a post about a speculated FK X FR3 combo? Personally, I hope it's true.

FKs hitting iD will be inevitable. What I'm most concern about is the PRICE we'll have to pay to order! I'm thinking they'll be asking no less than $200 for iDs.:\

Regarding the laces, I think FKs look best with the flat Nike Running laces (as seen on the LunarGlides, Free Runs, etc.). I'm glad I stashed a lot of them from when iD offered a spare lace option haha.

When I get my F1s, I'll be swapping out those ribbon laces ASAP! haha
