FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

What’s the vibe like in a Michelin restaurant? I couldn’t imagine dropping hundreds on a meal then Drake walks in and demands the aux the whole time I’m there
It really depends. Michelin star doesn't always mean "high class/elite" atmosphere.

Had a meal at Luksus a few years before it closed, but it was a little hole in the wall behind a craft beer bar. Was a great experience overall.

I might try a michellin joint one of these days.

But getting bossed around becuase i ate my watercress lemon grass fondued egg shell before i ate the gold-encrusted smoked nigerian parrot dung, doesnt seem appealing at all. bunch of fluff

the only spot i would be down for would be
Osteria francescana in italy.

well then you been to the wack ones.
Its a reason they are 20 courses and take 10 hours to complete. You have eat the **** a certain way with a certain wine with a certain silver spoon up your butt.
rarely drink wine when i go to them spots
cause u dont HAVE to do anything
if u do u do
now they may not do substitutions
but other than that
thats it

Also outside of Chicago and their weird pizza cakes, most places thatbhave good pizza also import nyc water to make their pizzas.

Same thing with bagel shops.
