Exactly this. Eggs Benedict had bacon jam on it that was really good.

French toast was mixed with Hennessy (?) maple syrup. The boy got a lil tipsy

Thank you. That pan was actually for a party someone asked me to do.

they actually came from Costco. But yes they can be made like nawghty said. I was just feeling lazy. Took them out the freezer and put them in a cast iron skillet with the bacon.

He’s using grillgrates, they do great marks. I thought about getting them when I recently replaced the grates on my Weber but went with stainless steel instead.

Grill marks are overrated. Imo. You get brownie points for using the grill that's all.
I come in peace grill masters.

Tried Kitsuen in DC today. Food was pretty good but the customer service was a work in progress. Its too be expected though since its literally they're second day open. The staff were very nice, they just have growing pains. **** aint cheap for those wondering though

I'd go with Daikaya just off the strength of their menu. A lot bigger with more options
