Local donut spots the dough is usually too breadish like dunkin or cakey like Duck Donuts and then try to cover it up with fancy ****. Not that those are bad, but nothing matches the KK texture. Then again i'm not searching for donuts too often.

im weak when it comes to sweets though. cant do too sweet and don't like thick icing.

cake donuts are personally my favorite cause i like to dip them in to my coffee

I’ve had them. They’re good, but I don’t think they’re significantly better than other spots.

Randy’s is a chain now too. Was just the one in Inglewood with the giant donut on the roof, but I’ve seen locations in Century City, Torrance, Santa Monica.

Doughnuts are an emergency only food for me. Will eat one when I'm starving and the family of a patient buys them for us at work.

So many better ways to spend the calories, in my eyes.

Cupcakes or brownies are a waste of calories to me. Donuts not so much
