Moms requested me to cook batchoy, a Filipino pork intestine & liver soup noodle flavored with shrimp paste. But I topped it with beef, pork balls, and chicken breast because the liver and intestine is just way too high on the savagery scale.

The issue with Miami.... we do not have enough asian/pacific island restaurants. I have a pho spot down the street and theres a good dim sum spot 20 minutes from my house. But everything here, for the most part is chinese take out or sushi. I've found a few korean and philipino spots, but nothing worth much..... 

with that being said, this soup looks tasty. 

At restaurant DonRe. I'm getting pretty good at this ish.

Tonights dinner. 

Brined Chicken qtr: lime, coriander spice blend, olive oil, sesame oil, salt and water. 

Grilled till the skin was cripsy... (low and slow only flipped once) 

topped with Cilantro Pesto.

theres lactose free milk. i drink it myself. it costs more but worth it.

Second is oyster pancake/omelette. The egg is fried which gives makes it crispy and it's also cooked with starch which makes it chewy. One of my favorite foods.

pretty good deal at this spot on Costa Mesa (if you ever get out here or for anyone around the area).

Deep Dish (8", i think) , caesar salad and a drink for like $8.

solid deal, but you go early or call it in cause it does take time to fire up.
