? For those who gamble.....

say word......

i just figured it depends who up there......last time i was in there was for Steve Aoki prolly a fri or sat, it was REAL live that night.

i heard tuesdays be a nice crowd before though.

only time I gamble is during NCAA tournament so right now. I start off betting no more than $10 the first round if I win I bet again 10% of my winnings and so on.

Gambling is a partial income for me that has been crucial to my bankroll in the past 5-6 years since i really started gambling seriously. You'll catch me at the borgata most of the time if you are down in AC.

i wanna go there, looks nice...........was suppose to go for someones birthday party but plans fell thru.
how is the nightlife there?
Borgata is hands down the best casino in AC and its not even close. Only negative is its secluded from the other casinos off the strip. Its right next to Harrahs. But youll be good with clubs like Mur mur, mixx and the pool at harrahs. Its all numb to me now being there so often.

Recently turned 21 and I hit up Ac every month since turning 21, sometimes 3-4 times a month. I take 500 with me every time, but the roulette table has been treating me real nice so for every time I have been to AC I am still up 5k give or take. Planning on going tonight. Usually Harrah's or Borgata. Lose it all and hit up the clubs and hopefully find some chicks.

But gambling works in funny ways. You get a player card and you mostly never spend on anything but playing. Food/ drinks = free. Free rooms mostly any nights I want to go. It balances out in some ways.

Got free rooms in Vegas, so I will be hitting up Caesars on memorial day weekend.

What do you do for a living?
I work a regular part-time retail job. It's a lot of money, but it's not like I'm depositing thousands of dollars into my account every month. I will win some then lose some and all those wagers add up to the amounts I said.

I go there about twice a week as well. All I play is blackjack though.

i used to gamble every night on tons of games, losing 2k a week sometimes, which is a lot to me, since this past nfl season i've controlled myself better and I'm up about 8-10 k, I've only paid my bookie once since september and currently up $840 this week

yea sports betting can get ugly... i got caught up this NFL season but pretty much broke even come play off time - was just glad it was over

have stuck by my guns and not touched basketball or college at all

too many options in that week long period to chase losses or try to multiply them before you have to "settle up"

i go to vegas 2-3 times a year and i'll bring about $500 for gambling alone.
just once in my life, i'd love to experience a craps table where a shooter has been rolling for over an hour.

Okay I have a question for you gamble heads. I got a player card and they gave me this choice of hotels with comped rooms. Which one is best? I was thinking Caesars but I have never been to any of these in Vegas yet..

Bally's Las Vegas
Caesars Palace
Flamingo Las Vegas
Harrah's Las Vegas
Imperial Palace
Paris Las Vegas
Planet Hollywood
Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino

I would love to go to other hotels but this is free, so that can't be beat..

best is subjective- and best for what? gaming? food? crowd? distance to other spots?

Out of the hotels you have listed above, I would stay at Caesars.  It is the nicest one on the list by far, and is on a good location on the strip.  You can always walk/cab to the other one's, but definitely stay at Caesars.

hate all you guys that are close to casinos

i live about 1:30 from Sands

and about 3 hours from AC

went to the Sands for the first time last month, liked it, played mostly roulette, when i hit up AC its about poker

I guess best on average on out all your criterias. Although really just gambling and distance. I think we will be moving around a lot and I get free food in all those hotels also..

me and my boys went to foxwoods two weekends ago, brought 500, never had to break into anything but the first 100. was up 350 after day one on blackjack, lost 250 back, went to roulette steaming, put 100 on black, hit. then put 5 on 8, 18, and 28, hit 8 for 175 and walked away.

we walked by shrine at like 11 to see what it was like and the line was legit 200 people deep. the VIP had a line of like 20 so it was serious. maybe next time.
