I feel like everyone who gave me crap saying I was trashing a film I didn't even see, when I never actually said anything positive or negative about the film, owes me an apology..

I don't actually expect to get one, but I do feel sorry that y'all actually paid to see this crap.. And awe lord if y'all went to see it in IMAX and had to pay for a date and get drinks and hot dogs or candy or whatever

I hope y'all at least got some after singer/fox and that movie theater screwed you out of your money









I also think whoever it was I had that little debate about whether Olivia munn made the right choice between this turd salad and being 'the love interest' in deadpool, also owes me an apology

If they actually do the very least they should do and fire singer, she isn't even on the list of people I think are salvageable.. Hell, if I hadn't seen Oscar Isaac's other work I would be saying he should be searching for band aids too

While I think ole girl who played storm is sexy.. They gotta get her up out there too



Fassbender, mcavoy, Sansa, Scott, beast, Oscar Isaac, quicksilver and ole girl from neighbors.. I would save those

Yea just looked him up on IMDb.. Only thing I know of that he did was Hannibal rising, which I didn't watch

But he has a better look for gambit than Tatum.. And has the French thing going for him

If this was Marvel they'd probably cast the unknown. They like gambling on unknowns or left field choices and making them popular. Make ppl go from 'why'd they pick him/her' to 'ohhh I see now'

But since this is fox, they are going to go for the names and pimp that name.

I'm a Tatum fan, so still hopeful it works out :nerd:

He played Yves Saint Laurent, I think it's his newest role not sure, and he's not bad, better than Tatum as Gambit for sure. I think he's perfect for Gambit like Jackman was for Wolverine.

so is channing still playing gambit?

man theres just so much other stuff attached to his name/resume that it would be hard for ppl shake while watching him portray remmy.

if channing is playing gambit......THIS WILL BE bunz, no doubt.

I dont care how much passion he has for this role, I think the casting of him would over shadow his performance, and be the first kiss of death for this flick.

The taylor k dood was legit (costume/wardrobe design on the other hand :x), they should just bring ol boy back???

That's the first time I think I've seen anyone say anything positive about Kitsch's performance as Gambit. :lol:

He did not have the swag I think Gambit should've had. You need to have the swag.
 
^ i mean the whole movie was bunz, it wasn't really 100% on him....I think it was more of the films "portrayal" of gambit rather than his "performance" of gambit
 
I have a feeling Tatum's Gambit's eyes won't be red and black, kinda like how Mystique ain't blue.

Guess I'm the only one who believes a Gambit movie isn't being made at all. Deadpool is a totally different situation. He has a fanbase. Gambit may have one as well, but DP has the humor. Even if the plot was somewhat weak, the humor made up for it. Gambit would have to be a really really really good movie for it to work, and I don't see it.
 
I don't really care either way but to me it's not like how with DC and me feeling there's no way they do a straight up Cyborg solo movie :lol:

FOX and the dude's running **** are dumb enough and don't care just as much to okay that movie [emoji]127909[/emoji]. Probably give the Gambit movie a bigger budget than they gave the first Deadpool just cuz they got a named star in the lead and somebody told them girls love Gambit and he's as big as Wolverine.

Channing started following some of the cast on Justice League and Zack Snyder as well. Hmmmm.......
 
Really hope the solo gambit movie is cancelled. fox puts out enough garbage. Wouldn't like to see my favorite xman from the cartoon in another struggle film.
 
Man if the box office doesn't persuade Fox to give up the rights then maybe they do the next best thing and stop making movies for a little while.

That way they don't fill the market up with trash.
 
I think we're all forgetting that there's has NEVER been a good xmen movie. They've just been some so bad other look good in comparison. Go down the list looking at the movies from a comic book fan and just a movie;

Xmen 1: CB movie, horrible. Movie, laughably bad
Xmen 2: CB movie, serviceable at best. Movie, meh
Xmen 3: CB movie, horrible. Movie, porn parody status

Wolverine origins: CB movie, horrible. Movie, wtf were they thinking?
Wolverine: CB movie, horrible. Movie, LOL

1st class: CB movie, serviceable at best. Movie, meh
Dofp: CB movie, hit and miss (mostly miss). Movie, meh

Apocalypse: CB movie, horrible. Movie, meh - LOL.


I'm a huge xmen fan and so is anyone in their late 20's now due to the cartoon and such. Why they continue to take a dump on the source material is beyond me. In some cases they actually make things more complicated changing things.


Xmen has become the F&F of the comic book movie world. They aren't good, entertaining enough, down right ridiculous even using the movies own logic, and they keep coming out with more.
