Gateway Laptops?

Had one like this with similar specs. Very good laptop although not very good for gaming if you plan on doing any of that.

Gateway is damn near last in the laptop reliability rankings Squaretrade did and the other one which I forget who conducted it so I can't find it right now. But that may not be your experience, so maybe you have it 10yrs. I still have a Dell I have had more than 10 yrs and they aren't highly rated themselves.

Do yourself a favor and find a used Mac that fits your budget or save up for a new 1.

what favor will he be doing himself? paying too much money for simple web browsing and downloading?

asus and msi make great computers, look for those.

Anyone else think their logo is lame as hell? Some of their computer designs suck too. If they were to change all that, they'd probably sell better. They're decently priced for the specs.

I'm currently on my Gateway NV53A, which is my first laptop...I have NO complaints...given me no problems. I've had it for about 6-7 months. 320 GB HDD LED LCD screen.

For that price you're better off with a Dell
Haven't seen a gateway computer in years

on my gateway laptop right now

only thing about is you may need to buy a new battery and charger after about 2 years or so if
you take bad care of it like I do.
