Getting in trouble with cops when you're behind them

But OP, you're on a motorcycle. Why you stopping for cops?

Because cops have radios and video cameras. They'll get your info one way or another. Then, it's game on. Trust me, I know people who thought they were above the law riding a crotch rocket.

Op, seems like you're trying to get affirmation that cops will never pull you over if you're behind them. Sounds like bro-science to me and a great way of getting a huge ticket. Follow the traffic laws to your best ability.

so you didnt get introuble? ok well move on. why are you operating a motrocycle withouth the proper documentation. you gonna get arrested keep it up kiddie

Never in my life have i been pulled over by a cop and just got a warning.

One time I got a crazy ticket, right?

It was me and my man in the car and I was kinda being a ****, pulled up next to these cops blasting Busta Rhymes "Put Yo Hands Where My Eyes Can See" just generally taunting them cause I was like "hey I'm not speeding, **** the cops!" plus i was like 19 at the time. He kept telling us to turn the music down, and i just kept turning up on him, then at the green light I zoomed off. Of course I get pulled over and get a bunch of tickets for speeding, noise pollution, etc.

Well, i decide to take it to court, cause I was a **** back then even though I knew i was dead wrong.

During the trial I straight lied to the judge and said that the cop was in front of us the whole time and he pulled me over at the light for reasons i dont know or understand.

The judge was like, "Well, cops cant pull you over if they're in front of you because there's no way to tell what you're doing and pay close attention to the road at the same time."

Then the cop went on the stand and told the truth, but the judge and him were on some kinda personal tip and you could tell he's just the type who wastes her time with lots of dockets and whatnot and gets alot of people coming in protesting his tickets.

The whole thing was perfect, until my man went up to the stand straight caved. All the judge wanted was for him to tell the same story as me, but he just got scared and froze up, talmbout "I'm not sure...I don't remember the placement of the cars like that b/c i was looking at my phone...yes our music was very loud blah blah blah"

Boom. Ticket. Cause this dude was scared that if he got caught in a lie he would go to jail for perjury. I swear after that I was HOT for like a couple months. Dude was my best friend, still is, and couldn't even ride for me!!!! But it's all good b/c he laced me with MAAAADDDD free Sour Diesel for awhile out of guilt. Just made sure to never get into an illegal situation with him ever again.

You really got lucky!

I was pulled over once while ridding my motorcycle when I had my permit. The PO asked for my license, which at the time was just a permit. He asked me why was I ridding alone if I only had a permit and I fed him a reasonable lie that I lost the party I was riding with. He said, call them and if they are here before the two truck, you can go. Ten minutes later I was taking a cab home with a summon while watching my bike getting tow.

So, I'm not sure why the cop let you go, but that's one hell of a break. If you was to cause or get in an accident that PO was going to be held liable ...

Wow.

I'm a black dude and i be gettin pulled over, my liscense be suspended I just get a warning. That's happened to me twice in a row.

Are you not offering to suck his **** or something?

Pause...

I've only been pulled over for "fix it" tickets (tints, headlights, etc...) in the last few years. I guess law enforcement loves to cash out on those.

I haven't been pulled over for a traffic violation in years tho. *knocks on wood*

He didn't know how to do the paper work for a out of town license plate .

Never could understand why dudes pull over if they're on a bike.  Guess it all depends on where your at and if you know the area.

Yall really cant be this ignorant... "Why pull over if youre on a bike?!"

Cop cars have cameras. You try to take the next exit, chances are there is another cop in the area. Yall dumb as hell

Like I said earlier, I guess it's just where you reside at cause around here in Maryland or DC bikers take off from cops all the time.  That's just how we do.  We'll let you clowns worry about tickets.

Take off on them once they catch you it turns into a felony instead of a simple warning :lol i wouldnt taken my chances and im from the dmv

I hear everything your saying and agree with your position, and maybe it's just more so the era that I grew up in and most of the dudes I rode with early on rode hot bikes so for me back in the day we all knew what the deal was if a cop tried to chase up.  Not to mention, on 50 or 495 aint no cop car catching a bike if you know how to ride.  We was out.

It's because you stopped right away and didn't resist. Cops appreciate when you pull over right away.

I don't advise lying though, Usually when you tell the truth and admit fault they're easier on you.

:{

I'm not advocating lying to a police officer but never admit fault. It ruins any chance that you'll be able to challenge your crime in court.

This reminds me one time Im doin bout 80 on a 65 (i think) headn to work. Now mind you Im blastn my tunez and I see the cop perched bout less than a qrtr mile a head, so im decreasing my speed and by time I pass him, I see him pull off. Im like, eff him, ima just ignore him. Peep the logic: I dont see him, so he dont see me... So he pulls up behind me. My tunez still nockin and Im like ima just do me. He after 2 mins he turns on his lights and sirens. I still ignore him. I start changin lanes to the left, to get ahead like normal. This goes on for like 3 mins ( feel like years). Then he taps me yo. Im like wtf? So I act like a smart ash and front like he must not want me. So I change lanes to the right to " let him pass", he changes wit me. I change again, he changes wit me. Im like efffff, so I pull over. Dude hops out like "wtf is wrong with you, im tryna pull you over for 5 mins!" im like, Oh, I had my music blastin. By time I saw you, I moved so you could get around. I dont see why you wanted me, I wasnt doin anything. Im headin to work" He was like, you were speedin 1-2 miles back. Im like Wat??? (lol) worng car dude. He like, another qtr mile and I woulda got charged wit felonies, high speed chase n all this stuff. Im like, dude Ive done nothing. I didnt know you were even there. Got my 300 speedn ticket ( later reduced to 60) and bounced. I was being foolish, but in hind sight, :lol

Ever heard of tailgating? Follow a cop too close, and you'll get pulled right over. I was in a car once that got busted for that. Also, I've seen State Patrol pull over cars that are going too slow in the left lane (and holding up traffic). Once, on I-90, I saw a patrol car hop on the shoulder, wait for the lead car to pass, then hop back on and pull them over.

Lol the other night i flewwww thru the golden gate bridge doing like 145mph+
Came to a tunnel and jumped from 3rd gear up to 130mph+ and flew past a highway patrol.
His lights turned on and i kept it moving.
Its more fun dipping on cops in a car.
On a bike, you know youre getting away.
Driving really test your skills
