Nope, I got mine removed awake because I didn't want the procedure to take longer than needed and wanted to drive myself home afterwards.

It's funny, people don't realize that the actual procedure is like 15 minutes.

thats funny, i just got 2 teeth taken out not to long ago. i didnt even feel @+$@ !

OP I was in your situation. I had four wisdoms pulled, two in one location. I recommend the anesthesia, fast and painless. After the procedure you will bleed a lot. Once the anesthesia wears off, if your situation is like mine, you will be in a lot of pain. i was prescribed oxycodone. Relieved the pain but the side effect is a euphoric feeling

. I had dry socket on the bottom which caused nerve pain. I had the procedure on the 4th, the pain didn't go away for a whole month. By the third week I was in so much pain that I had to go back to the dentist to have the socket re-cleaned. They put some type of medication gauge which helped the socket heal.

haha, don't be. Everyone's procedure is different. All my other sockets healed fine except that side. It was probably my fault though. The dentist tell you the do's and don't and the procedure. Me being the hard headed person, I went to taco bell with my ex like two hours later chewing the food like a dummy. People tend to chew predominantly on a specific side, so my side was the one which became infected. You literally have holes where the wisdom teeth is pulled from. So food can become trapped in there for weeks

. i needed the procedure though because I would randomly have headaches due to my wisdoms pressing my never, so I'm glad I went through with it. If you follow the rules after the procedure you shouldn't have problems. Make sure you gargle with warm salt water the day after the surgery. Don't the day of. Any questions, hit me up by pm.
