The heaven/hell concept is more of a scare tactic imo to keep people indoctrinated; it's a form of mind control. If all sin is equal, then that means fapping is just as sinful as murder and slapping someone in the back of their head is just as sinful as rape, right?I do believe there is an after life not just a heaven/hell. Hence, why Hindus believe in reincarnation, Catholics believe in purgatory, etc. If there truly is one God then why are many monotheistic religion so divisive about their beliefs, despite the fact that they believe/worship the same God, just by a different name. One can argue that each religion has plausible points and therefore you can't hold one religion in higher regard over another religion imo. For instance, I'd feel it be intolerant and offensive to tell someone, "Jesus is the right way and only way to access God." Religion is man made; God isn't.
Heaven /Hell is a popular concept, known by many , but not adopted by many. But who does it "Control?" Do you not kill b/c of the cops, or because you feel its wrong?( only time ppl consider hell is when its gruesome)
why is it wrong? where is your moral compass/soul? A Dr. cannot show you on a chart. But you know its there. Why?
Yes, all sin is equal. There is no grey area. A Lie is equal to Rape. Fantasizing about stealing is the same as physically doin it.
We aren't perfect and will never be, which is why we need a savior. Someone to vouch for us.
Religion is man made, yes. Religion causes confusion, the more the better. IF there was only one, your in or out. More believers in the right ting. If there's alot of religions then less believers in the right thing. Satan wins (which he is winning currently by the way). True chrisitanity is a RELATIONSHIP between YOU and GOD. Not a Priest as a middleman. A Church be a place to help grow that relationship, gather with fellowship with other believer, and be vehicle for you to serve God.
