Will be there 22-25 but don't wanna pay strip prices for hotel. Have a rental car so getting around is not a issue.

Anyone recommend a nice hotel that's pretty priced fair maybe off the strip a little?

how far off. the hard rock hotel isn't too bad and every sunday they have their rehab pool parties google it which will probably be the craziest pool party in vegas if not anywhere

Hard rock is more expensive then most hotels on the strip. I'm looking for just a nice clean place to sleep that's not OD expensive.

Tending to AM housework, grabbing hyperfse PEs @ HOH CHI and BS Chi-town Traffic. All FTL. On the bright side I got hyperfuses but standby is not looking good. Might be default to night in chicago and use ticket for future travel.

Yeah, standby to Vegas on a weekend is out of the question pretty much any time of the year. Hell, there are so few flights these days relative to what it used to be like that standby is tough anyway. My boy works for Alaska and he always tells me to book a flight rather than get a standby code from him, unless I'm flying to like, Los Angeles, on a Wednesday at noon.

BTW,  for those of you who play a lot, think about moving your gaming dollars to Cosmo, their Identity lounge is killing Venetian/Palazzo's and Wynn/Encore's. I've got my first stay at Cosmo coming up in two weeks.

is this their diamond lounge sort of thing?  If so how many points will I need to get access to this thing?  Since cosmo opened I bought in around $30k with them at the tables.  I give them decent action(on average 400-500 a hand on bacc).  I've been disappointed with the lounge at venetian cause they let anybody in there now and all I see are a bunch of my own people(asians) up in there stealing sodas and water bottles

wont even lie bro, you can catch me at the venetian slot salon stocking up on water and coke for chasers

. if you have gold status at venetian, show it to the folks at the identity area and ask to be put in touch with a casino host/hostess there. melissa cole was the one recommended to both me and my mom seperately so that might be a good place to start. for that kind of action, you should definitely be taken care of (assuming a couple hours/night and such).
one thing i will say though, is that the venetian gold room/slot salon is open at all times, whereas the cosmo lounge (other than the high limit salon) is only open for a certain amount of time. that, and there is this baaaaad asian girl that works at the venetian gold room (short hair, glasses), who is always a joy to talk to

Just booked the back end of Labor Day (Sat-Wed). Can't wait. First class down there, so I can start the party early.
