GOING TO VEGAS IN A WEEK VOL: Help me with my experience...

going to vegas today, has anyone ever done the TAO/LAVO/TAO BEACH wristband from Vegas.com?

i see costco is selling $100 vegas.com coupon for $80...

How are the towers at PH? I think someone posted not too far back they stayed there or were going to?

My gf is turning 21 in March and wants to go for her bday. Problem is, family members she's inviting aren't really going to be down to drop a lot for a hotel. Her and I went in July, stayed at the Cosmo and really liked it. A 3 night stay her bday weekend is going to be about $600, which I'll gladly pay but others won't. I'm thinking between PH and towers at PH, everyone will be happy and comfortable paying the rates there. Also, what is the typical number of rooms required for a group rate?

one of the best places i've stayed room wise.  i mean the room is cool, seemed like an elevated bed.  it had a jacuzzi right next to the bed.

the kitchen is on point, and you can even cook in there if you want.  the fridge is by far one the biggest ones in any hotel in Vegas i've ever stayed at.

the projector screen was nice, they even personalize the display with your name, but you can watch TV regularly if you want.

staff has been nice to me the three times i've stayed there.

con is that it's a walk from the PH casino and regular hotel, you've got to walk through the miracle mile shops.  one time i was stuck in the elevator for about 35-40 minutes, then was interrogated about what we did to cause the elevator to stop.

I saw pictures of said jacuzzi. You stayed in the 1 bedroom suite? Is going through the miracle mile shops the only way to get in/out of the tower?

Thanks for the info!

Has anyone been lately? Given how scorching hot it is, can you get away with a black v-neck at the clubs?

I stayed in the 2 bed suites, but I think its just the 1 bed suite with a studio suite attached to it.

If you are walking, miracle mile of shops is the only way out.  There is a back entrance to the towers that leads to a cab stand and parking if you are just trying to get out to grab a cab.  If you are the type that likes to make a lot of trips back to the room, you may regret staying at the Towers.  I usually switch up my normal schedule/mode when I stayed at PH Towers cause usually I like to hit the tables and then head back up to the room every hour or so to smoke another bowl.  When you take into consideration the 7-10 min walk 1 way each time you want to go back (assuming youve only gone as far as PH casino) it starts to make it not worth it.

Nope, unless you're local/industry. I went last August, it was about 90 at night (brutally hot stretch of weather), and I had to go pants and a shirt, and we even had a local hooking us up with tables on industry nights. They don't mess out there. I was burning up outside at XS and somehow we ran into some people who helped upgrade us to a dance floor table.

Take solace in the fact this year is slightly more manageable. It's hovering around 100 during the day. Normally it's 110+. A year ago it was 115 every day I was there.

Oh alright. I may have to reconsider then, having to always walk through the shops will probably get on my nerves.
Thanks again for the info

It all depends on the bouncers/hosts. I've seen people in there with shorts and fitteds
