Google redirect ??

how do i stop this

when i google something

and click the link it redirects me to some spam or ad 

and like legit sites too like best buy or some other huge company on the sponsored links

It's mostly caused by sites you've visited.
All it really is, is Spyware, but sometimes it's a trojan, it redirects and puts a bunch of other nasty stuff on your comp you can't see

man so how do i prevent it? and what do i do to remove it

also will i get frauded

if i log onto personal accounts ??

or can i just leave it on

Malware Bytes, scan, then quarantine it.
Problem solved, redirect virus has a keylogger but when I had it on my desktop I never had anything happen.

My mom had a virus on her pc last week and after I got it removed I jumped on the internet and Googled something and got redirected. I thought I had everything clean the first time but nope. What a PITA.

download the software

update the software (third tab in)

perform a full scan

when it finishes it will let you know and show you what it found

remove the items it found

reboot

perform a full scan again

if you are using IE, goto tools, internet options, then connections and see if there is a proxy setup, if so remove it.

download the software

update the software (third tab in)

perform a full scan

when it finishes it will let you know and show you what it found

remove the items it found

reboot

perform a full scan again

if you are using IE, goto tools, internet options, then connections and see if there is a proxy setup, if so remove it.
