GTA: San Andreas game play & fun with PS3 graphics = GTA V. Then, it's going to be the best ever.
No GTA is topping San Andreas.
My brother & I stayed up the whole weekend, when that game came out, & played it non-stop.
Got it on Friday & we already beat Los Santos & were half way in San Fierro by Monday.

I hope theres customization like and extras like SA, thats what pissed me off about GTA iV

GTA IV looked gorgeous and was smooth and all...but the game had no replay value to me...the main character was un-engaging and it was too real to life to be comparable to the fun to be had in SA...i could die a happy man if Rockstar just re-released San Andreas and added online multiplayer...could you imagine turf wars with clans as gangs?! i would never leave my house anymore...

This the wanted Level system was broken to me and it was hard to have those gigantic across the map wars with the Law Enforcement in GTA 4

It was far from broken. I can easily ditch the cops on a six star level. Just got to run through some alleys. Also the cops know what car you're driving in so you break into another car. They won't spot you after that. That's what I liked about IV. In the other GTA's the cops know exactly where your at.

Yup. Even just the physics of driving the vehicles was an incredible step forward. The detail of the people, buildings, and animation was a huge step up. Sorry that you can't add a spoiler and rims to a mail truck
Oh, and no one has mentioned possibly the single greatest addition to GTA... THE TAXI SERVICE. You'd rather drive a dirtbike for 20 minutes across the San Andreas map?

I just want to be able to customize my cars, put wheels on them, add a nitrous boost, and maybe add the sound system. Give me that and make online mode at least 24 player max and I'd be good.

What's the point in having cars if you're gonna take the taxi all the time? Don't get me wrong it was a good for getting across the map quick but I felt it kind of ruined it. The graphics and details were nice but like I said before they took the fun out of the game. Having all that money and can't spend it on anything but guns and clothes. Blurry Graphics? Now you're just making stuff up. I never had a problem with frame rate at all. I'm taking it you guys don't have HD tvs? I have no idea why you're experiencing this.
Like I said GTAIV is the game that gets the most unjustified hate. Every complaint isn't really a complaint, it's just YOU not being able to accept that this is NOT San Andreas. SA had the most filler out of all the GTA games. The MAP was TOO BIG, it actually got a little boring driving around. What's the point of building your stats when in reality they didn't even matter?
You didn't need all those little mini games in GTA IV because you can create your own fun things to do that you CANT in all the other GTA games.
You also realize that there were two expansions to GTA IV? Lost and the Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony where they added TONS of fun stuff to do. You just need a little bit of creativity and imagination.
Jumping off helicopters and landing into pools on roofs. Taking a dirtbike to the skatepark. Messing around with your friends online is probably the most fun you can have online. You forgot GTAIV had multiplayer right?

Ok so I wanna tried to get confirmation on this. On the game channel I saw a lil segment of gta 5 and they showed a teaser poster of GTA V and on the poster on one side it had niko bellic and said liberty city under him and right next to him was CJ from San Andreas and under him it said LA. And the way they were position is they had there backs together like if they were gonna be working together in this game. Also heard you can fly from liberty city to LA.

I wasn't too fond of the original story in GTA IV although the upgraded look was great.
The add on packs were a lot more fun to play though. I thought it was a really solid game.

all sand box games have frame rate issues though try blowing up 100 cars in saints row and see what happens.
