Guardians of the Galaxy (Film) - 8/1/14 - Starring Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Benic

He's alive. He smiled as his brain began to grow. Would have been the second villain had Norton's Hulk got a sequel.

Something tells me the FF reboot is going to be much better than we all think, and that it's going to over take the X-men as Fox's flagship comic book franchise and people will grumble why the X-men wasn't rebooted in the same manner as FF

Nostradamus, I am

I dont get the question. Wasnt what thanks to a resurected thanos?

Thanos has died and ressurected a few times so probably. Not sure I am getting your question. Especially since I read the events out of order but I do know he died and was resurrected in an Adam Warlock cocoon. He also died in the cancerverse (is that what you mean by alt reality?), they should be explaining why he is dead soon. Unless I missed something it was 616 Thanos in the cancerverse.

EDIT: I mean they should be explaining why he is still alive in the next issue of Guardians

Mickey Rourke was such a waste. He would be perfect as a lot of villains too. smh

Which brings me back to my theory that the sequel cannot be about the hero. They made iron man 2 about tony AGAIN, and left out basically everyone else. Who's even the bad guy? Hammer or whiplash? They tried to build then both up and ended up doing nothing with both. Sprinkle in some gratuitous "avengers is coming out!!" Sub plots, and you get a mess of a film.

Yeah that's the one. Cancerverse where drax kills him. And my question was isn't that the Thanos (the pic you posted) that was in a alt reality and was resurrected?

Im2 was clouded with setting up the avengers I would have to agree. I think marvel has learned from their mistakes and have put out some quality movies as of late. Hope they stay on that trend.

IM3 was worse than IM2. IM3 was a perfect time to set up Demon In The Bottle. After witnessing an alien invasion, I'd prolly pick up the bottle myself.

Yah he was resurrected but we dont know why yet. They are explaining it soon. Yes the Cancerverse is an alt reality but it was mainstream continuity Thanos that was killed. But I wouldnt be surprised to hear that it wasnt 616 Thanos or some other ******** explanation when they explain why he is still alive.

I kinda thought they did that in iron man 2 when stark was drunk and Rhodes took off with the ironman armor.

Haven't read to much of that one. Just picked up some bits here and there.

Fiege said that iron man 3 served more to phase 2 more than people will think. Ultron being the case there.

Oh and for Thor. If you didnt read the first two story arcs for the current run of thor, Gorr would be a sick villain.

Basically a guy from a planet turned to ****. The planet is real religious yet their gods are not helping them. He basically tells the gods to **** off and the pack then leaves him. Then two gods who were fighting die right in front of him. I think he kills one of the gods that couldve survived with the gods weapon, the All-Black, then he becomes an immortal godlike creature and spends the next thousands of years butchering gods. He enslaves some of them for 800 years as they make a giant bomb that will go through soace and time killing all gods. Sick *** Story arcs. It takes the combined might of past present and future thor to defeat him

I am not the kind of guy who pulls 18 comics a week so take what I say with a grain of salt but I felt this was easily one of the best comic story arcs. I am biased tho because I am an atheist for a lot of the same reasons he is if you break his reasoning down to the simplest terms

Dude with the thor nyancat avy, what did you think of this arc 8o (sorry i dont keep track of names for 99% of this site)

Still doesn't change the fact that it wasn't a great film
Haha I feel you but it did serve a purpose. Couple of tweeks here and there it could have been better. I was hoping to see more of aim and have Mallen be the main villain. In the cinematic universe they are constantly mixing the comic book villains. Killian was Mallen, scientist supreme all in one.

That's BS. Pretty much all of these films are setting up for something bigger down the line. It's not an excuse to deliver something crappy.

Agreed. I think they realized after all of the negative feedback from IM3 they delivered a turd and couldn't turnTony Stark into a ******* MacGyver that makes bombs out of Christmas ornaments and get fans to accept that crap. That's why they saved face with the short piece about the prison being infiltrated by a true Ten Rings member.

I hope RDJ demands more of his next solo film because Iron Man is becoming a joke that does dumb **** like "party protocol" about a few weeks too late. :{ IM could have shut all that **** down early. :rolleyes I mean it's cool that RDJ is a wisecracking dude, but can we get a believable story that makes some damn sense the next go round?

I don't want to see a story about him and Pepper flirting. I want some mother ******* action! Homeboy you have a suit of armor that has all kinds of weapons and tech and you're throwing Christmas Bombs instead of calling your suits to come whoop some ***? >D :{

They need to NEVER hire whomever wrote IM2 and IM3 again. I refused to even spend money on IM2 and only skimmed through it when it became available online. I still don't want to see it all the way through. Something told me it would suck ****.

Love Marvel though. :lol

I just can't be one of those fanboy apologists.
