the powell st Downtown SF H&M sells gear for men and it's been covered in numerous H&M threads in here, but, yes, a lot of their stuff is shoddy quality-wise, but if you know how to shop, you can getsome real decent stuff there. not talking mess, but i've always dressed pretty decent. i get as much, if not more compliments on my H&M gear as I do when I wear more expensivejoints. since their stuff is so inexpensive, i don't mind experimenting and getting things i only real occasionally. you keep doing the same thing w/designer gearand you waste a lota $$$$. on a sidenote, their stores are always great for networking too. i ain't talking about scamming on chicks either. in back to back trips there, i met acoupla cool folks that so happened to be hiring managers. i didn't take either of them up on their job offers/interview opportunities, but i did make somegood contacts. and, yeah, you can make other "useful connects" rolling thru there too.
