That means there are black, white, even Asian Hispanics. The label "Hispanic" -- meaning, "with origins or heritage in Spanish-speaking countries" -- was intended by the census to be a category of linguistic and ethnic heritage, not an official "race" of its own.

An earlier Pew report indicated that the longer their families had been in America, the more likely Hispanics were to check the "white" box. This suggests that the way Americans say "upward mobility for immigrants" or "mainstream integration" is still too often "becoming white."

I've also noticed that 2nd Gen Asians are much more accepted by the Caucasian community. Not sure if there's an actual statistic. But what I've noticed with my naked eyes.

I'm black and i definitely find white women attractive and i would date the right one but i have to admit, it does look funny to me not to the point that it bothers me, but it just looks off.

the media only shows white men all over here in the west. of course many minorities are going to see that as the standard of attractiveness.

minority women were pretty much nurtured to see white men. if you go to korea (not sure about other nations) you'll see a good amount of korean dudes with white girls (mostly european)

I believe this is going to change in the US.... minorities are now going to be the majorities here in the States and eventually the table will turn.

Maybe its just the city I am in but I see more white guys back to dating white girls nowadays and seeing black men dating sistas. I am not saying this is new because it is not I just don't see very many interracial couples in my city at least pittsburgh which I am in. I thought my city was very diverse at one point but it seems to be fading. But I have noticed around the country I really don't see as many interracial couples as you normally see like it was back in the day. Asian girl/black guy here in pittsburgh is non existant, black guy/Latina girl is non existant here most of all because we don't have many Latinos in the steel city at all. I am trying to hopefully move one day but I just see like online I read articles saying that white girls don't date black men anymore their obsession for chocolate is over. And I read too only white girls who are ghetto can get black guys to date them not a classy upscale white girl. I feel like its a stereotype not a fact.

Man this post screams of insecurity and inferiority in my opinion.
Why are you so fixated on dating a white woman?
You make them sound like a prize or an accomplishment.
I'm not going to knock you for being attracted to women from other races, but the amount of thought and effort you put into understanding why is sad. Date who you like, but stop worrying about what other people like that ish makes you look mad weak!!!!
