of course. nina is an a bubble of delusion saying there is no discrimination. hell, even here in socal, the darker you are, the more you are likely to be considered less. and that's within central american countries. sure darker latinos are accepted, but they will have that label of not being associated with 'whiteness' it's just the nature of it.

It's odd to me that given the fact that the majority of enslaved Africans were transported to Latin America that ppl within the United States, black, white or otherwise cannot understand or do not want to understand that there are black ppl in Latin America and that it's not some small percentage.

It's sad to me that some black latinos in and outside of the u.s. would deny this fact and their own backgrounds due to white supremacy.

I was writing quickly so I wasnt 100% with my thoughts. what I meant was people who believe that race has nothing to do with someone's identity, upbringing, etc just say things like "we're all human. i dont see color" because its an easy way out. its a disgusting simplification of something thats actually complex and sophisticated.
