from what i understand there is a stage area thats perfect for the shoe display and there will be tables provided, but confirm this with hektor when he gets back.

competition would definitly be better after the balling and mingling actually probably near the final hour an a half of the summit to allow time to set up/get a feel for the displays and for the judges to make their decision and the prize will be handed out right after the judges decision near the end if the summit. that way cats can leave their shoes secured and not worry bout em out in the open while having fun then when they done playing they can set up and "keep guard".

Last year we had about 4 competitors i think? Maybe 5...and the stage got a little cramped. If it's a nice day i say we go outside so everyone can view the shoes together. 2 summers ago we did it outside too and i think it went pretty well. but we'll play it by ear...whatever people feel like the day of.

This summit should be huge...its good for the toronto sneaker scene. I hope all the other shops get involved.

hey guys,

the heat competition sounds great.. with the $10 fee and everything. however, i suggest deciding on a fixed number of shoes to bring.. either 5,6,7,8,9 or 10 pairs.. instead of a range .. it will just make things easier... in my opinion the more the better, so people can display all of their fave shoes.

i just find that 5 pairs is not really enough for someone to showcase their main heat... even if we'd do 7 pairs each would be nice.. would also fill up the tables nicer

lets just make it an even 10 then. if you don't bring 10 then 8 or 9 is fine too. but lets set it for an even 10.

I'll bring name displays for every contestant to put on their table, so you guys dont' worry about that.

Because I'll be at a basketball tournament that same day, I might be late depending on how our game schedule is. Could someone else lead this and take charge in case I don't make it in time?

It would really help and give me one less thing to worry about, just cuz things that day will be really rushed for me, getting from one place to the other.

alright plans changed due to time but this is the scedual

11am- Gym opens for basketball runs till 1pm sharp
Noon- Setup begins in the lot for Heat Comp
1pm- All Heat tables should be setup for judging, ball
ends and at this point EVERYONE is outside to vote
2pm- Announce the winner of the Heat Comp

after that y'all can kick it in the lot, play cards,
BBQ, drink + smoke, basically just chill out and enjoy
being in the company of other heads...

prizes so far (buyin money) + tshirt courtesy of Stolen riches

if you are entering post here and we will have an updated list MUST KNOW BY FRIDAY

the weather will be sunny with partial clouds and high of 22 so it will be a beautiful day.
