Help--Acne--Depressed--Rant

I've been acne free ever since (2 years) and I barely wash my face or use sunblock moisturizers.

now that you're acne free, when you SHOULD continue to keep using face moisturizer (with sunblock) so you can maintain your handsome good looks well into old age. it's like you got a fresh cut, so it's time to keep up that fresh cut . . .:smokin

You may have sensitive skin. If you wear product, wash them out every night. Whatever is on your head will get on your pillow. Then gets on your face and clogs your pores. Wash sheets often. If its really bad, go see a dermatologist.

One more thing, try not to touch your face with your hands unless they are washed. After you eat, wash your hands with soap and water. The smallest amount of oil can clog pores.

Have you not been to a dermatologist? That over the counter stuff is just for keeping light-moderate acne under control. See a Derm, get that Epiduo, and stop touching your cot-damn face. Scars go away, let your ish heal up!

Forget you even have acne, b. Go live. Exercise will make you feel better about yourself. Go do that.

You feel worthless because you have acne? Man, what? Who hasn't had acne?

Recognize the King inside of you and don't worry about what other people think.

dude calm down. There are people around the world who don't even know where their next meal is coming from. Stop being depressed about some scars. See a doctor, change how you eat, excersise, relax and don't be stressed over something minor.

I hate the argument "someone on the other side of the world has it worse". It's relative to what OUR culture and society demands. As mean as it sounds how does it help OP if you tell him some kid is starving somewhere a million miles away. Yes, we dont have the slightest clue as to what that's like. And that person a million miles away doesn't have the slightest clue as to what it's like here. that's the same as saying I should be content with making minimum wage because someone over in Africa is living off of 10 dollars a day. I feel for them but I'm gonna do what benefits me where I live.

To OP... Do you still have acne or just scars? If you just have scars I would take the chemical peel route. Cheaper and won't be as much of a pain if you used accutane. If your have both then I'd go accurate to knock both out at once. I used it when I was 16 or so and haven't had acne since which is about 5 years.

Use accutane, side effects weren't too bad for me. I never felt suicidal, didn't lose hair. Only side effects I could report were I would get drunk faster, and after workouts I would take 4 days to recover as opposed to my normal 1-2 days and some mild joint pain in the beginning. Don't even bother with all the potions and lotions everyone will recommend, just take accutane and be done with your acne for good.
