I got some fake *** corks and PayPal is denying a refund! What do i do?

how did the transaction go through? was it all paypal balance or you used your debit/credit card attached to your paypal?

dont think you will get proof since they dont do legit checks, they would have to send you or paypal a letter confirming they are fake and doubt you would be able to do it in enough time for the case to win.

damn brother, I was hoping you wouldn't say the balance. I feel for you and its hard to get the proof paypal is gonna ask of you to win. The most i'd say is (going out on a limb) supply pictures of legit ones from some source like flight club and have them compare and contrast your booboo pair
paypal has it rough on both sides with scammers. sometimes they move like insurance companies where you'll have a legitimate claim, but they find loopholes not to pay out. I can only imagine all the chargebacks and claims they must get

this is another reason why I don't keep a large balance on paypal. Once they closed my account with $90 and straight confiscated my ish, I knew what time it is with that balance. That paypal money is all under their control. They can't mes with your bank like that

Maybe you can get Nike to send you some product numbers for the real Corks via email and you can forward that to paypal with pics of the shoes you actually got... There's got to be a way you cam get your money back..

fakes usually have same bar code/dates/and product codes these days
its not like it was a few years ago where the tags would be so fake and not even close to the real ones.

Bro you did this to yourself.. As much as it sucks and I do feel for you. IMO you may have to take this one on the chin. Lesson learned.
1st question is why not LC FIRST if you were unsure what you were buying?
2nd you ONLY paid $540 this is about half of the going rate for legit Corks these days. This did not seem odd to you?
If I had a dollar for every time I seen this go down.. You guys do this to yourselves and expect PayPal or someone else to bail you out when you get beat. You are responsible for your own purchases. These fakes are so good now how is PP even gonna know? Also they are in the biz to make money not give it back, they are gonna find every out to not pay up just like an Ins company.
** try to send them VERY detailed pix of yours VS legit ones.. Send links to a few fake sites selling ones like you have for $100 bucks as well to prove there is a fake market for them..
The best defense is a good offense bro. Next time BE SURE you know what your paying for.

Ehh i've seen most corks go for about 600-650... $540 aint that much of a stretch.. woulda L/C them first.. did he send u legit pix then ship fake items?

Why would he Legit Check if he just joined the forum? It's not like hes a vested member. Seems like he created an account because he is out of other options.
Where was this item purchased?
Did the invoice/listing say anything about being authentic?
When you filed the claim, did you provide detailed photos of the shoes you received and explain, or point out, what makes them fake?
Did the seller send you the same exact item as pictured?

my statement is based on the fact that he's on NT now asking for help. if he got a legit check somewhere else, then by all means he should be taking his questions there.
