I’ve already lived in Raleigh before and you’re right it’s an extremely fast going city but with that comes a higher cost of living. I’m a teacher so I have a fixed salary.
I get a 10k pay raise in Va over NC, apartment is cheaper, closer to home for me when it comes to commuting for holidays.
Plus I like the atmosphere of Richmond better than Raleigh. More laid back up here. Already found a car club I might join, the breweries and farmers market. They have that artistic vibe up here.
As far as app success go I can’t give a judgement on which city is best yet. For me anyways.
Oh and weed is legal here. It’s not my vice. I’m black with locs I’m always going to get the “random” drug test. But for those that like that.
