I actually think he's taken more shots at Kobe over the years. The only shot I can really remember him taking was him saying that he'd crush Lebron mentally very easily.Jordan stays taking shots at Bron
But let's be real, Lebron has one on one capabilities. He's literally the most physically gifted athlete ever in basketball.MJ who is probably the best one on one player ever saying he could beat one of the most complete TEAM players ever... Sounds about right. Nothing new here
And we know Mike is bitter, he has to live with that, not us. Considering how he is as a person, I hope it does bother him every day. In the scheme of life, he does need to let it go. Your time has passed, you can do nothing about it now, but for the sake of sport conversation you can go on and on about it.
Not sure if you are arguing with me, or just restating what is assumed by most. The physical game of the 80s and 90s would benefit Bron on the defensive end, but not on the offensive end....like whoever I quoted was inferring. But like Jordan said, he's use to playing through contact so it's nothing new. Lebron on the other hand would struggle to score against a guy who is hand checking him and playing him physical. It would benefit James on the defensive end.
You'd be surprised. It's the one thing he isn't #1 at right now. So this is him mentally assuring himself that he (in theory) could still be #1. He sells out retros, so his brand is competitive and at the top, so he could chirp about that in comparison to Lebron. He literally can't do that on the court right now. So talking is the next best thing. He has a disease, it's called competitiveness. At some point in life you have to let it go in order to enjoy life. I'm a fan of his game and think he's the GOAT, but as a person he disgusts me. I still think about his HOF speech. What he said and did was completely unnecessary and petty, but that's who he is. Like he did as as player, he finds anything to motivate him and he goes on that. And we know Mike is bitter, he has to live with that, not us. lmaooo but the funny thing is..what does he have to be bitter about? He's won everything you can win, done everything you can do, built a gymshoe empire, made hundreds of millions, did a movie with bugs ******g bunny, has a ****** cologne and guys across the world wearing his drawls and people still agree he's the great ever...I don't get his issue....y u mad 4 mike?
Honestly, I think Carmelo and Durant both have a better shot at beating MJ than Lebron. Lebron is the best in the game right now but he is not known as a 1 on 1 player.

I think some of ya'll have a very ill-conceived notion of the dynamics of 1-on-1 basketball. Some of you guys are mentioning the era they play in, which is barely relevant. Others of you are mentioning 1-on-1 but you're still comparing their abilities within the confines of a TEAM game. Unquestionably, within the confines of a team game, MJ is the best 1 on 1 player. LeBron is a superior 1-on-1 player but not on MJ's level. HOWEVER, when you look at things from the true 1-on-1 perspective, as in, nobody in front of the rim or on the court but you and your opponent, there is a stark difference. Within a team game, even in an iso situation you aren't alone. There's weakside defense to worry about. Hell there's spacing to worry about. It affects what moves you do and what choices you make. MJ was a master of manipulating these aspects and getting to where he wanted to be when he wanted to be there. True 1-on-1 the only issue is the person in front of you. While this provides an advantage for MJ, I believe it provides a BIGGER advantage for LeBron. LeBron's size and strength would become magnified while MJ's skills would remain pretty much on par. MJ isn't out-rebounding LeBron, if they play with rebounds. And MJ isn't out-muscling LeBron. If LeBron were smart he'd muscle his way to the rim every time and finish strong. Whether its backing him in or straight-line drives to the rim. No jumpers, no fadeaways, none of that. So to think that Bron couldn't beat MJ is weird to me. If its hard to stop the guy with 5 players on the court, wth is one guy going to be able to do? Truth be told, any player at the skill level of an MJ, Bron, or Kobe, or even AI, prime T-Mac, etc can't be guarded 1-on-1 completely. The winners would be determined by the matchup (as someone in here mentioned) and who best exploits their strengths. MJ is a superior on ball defender but 1-on-1 against the worlds elite on-ball defense is not what some of ya'll think it is. These guys are too talented and there's too much room to operate. But let's be real, Lebron has one on one capabilities.
